awesome
- Pros: Got this to replace my Biostar board while it was being RMA'd and I'm so glad I did. The bios has a billion options, expressgate is awesome, bundled software was cool, DDR3 memory support :) Comes with way more hardware than the biostar did.
- Cons: I bought the biostar board first
- Other Thoughts: 4 gigs of Gskill DDR1600 running at 1640MHz running stable as a rock after 8 hours of memtest86.
Nice!
- Pros: Built a new computer with this bad boy. Nice layout SATA connections 1 IDE channel. It's pretty. Motherboard continues powering USB devices for a quicker launch unless you switch off the power supply.
- Cons: Wish it had more PCI slots. Microsoft USB Optical mouse with not respond due to constant powering of USB ports. But no biggie, just unplug and plug back in. None of my other devices are having a non-responding issue.
- Other Thoughts: I'm already out of PCI slots and may need to already upgrade my mobo and case.
- Pros: Works fast like a champ. Drivers were easily detected and downloaded for installation. Finally got the sound and ethernet card updated as well. In terms of multi-tasking and running applications, haven't had a single crash since.
- Cons: One thing I hated was when I first installed and turned on my system, the monitor would not display anything and this message appeared: Signal Lost. I was so mad and confused then I read something online about resetting BIOS where I had to remove that battery in the board then everything came to play. What really angers me now is that after every major/critical update, I restart and it does the same thing where I have to constantly open my tower just to reset the BIOS. I have no problem doing it but that principle of the act is just tedious. Currently looking for more information on this one.
- Other Thoughts: My system is fully updated in terms of drivers. This thing works like a pro!

Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer, You should not have to clear the CMOS by removing the battery after any updates. It may be that you have a corrupt BIOS chip. First, I would go to http://support.asus.com -> click "Download" -> type your model name in the top left input field, then click "Enter". Select the BIOS category and download the most recent BIOS revision to flash your BIOS. Even if you have the most recent BIOS already, you should still download and flash the BIOS again. If this does not help, please contact us at http://vip.asus.com/eservice/techserv.aspx and include your system configuration so that we may better assist you in resolving the issue. Best Regards, ASUS Support Team
