GREAT MOTHERBOARD
- Pros: GREAT MOTHERBOARD, Great pair with Phenom II 965, great overclocking features
- Cons: SATA placement
- Other Thoughts: will buy again when needed, great price for a midrange motherboard
- Pros: shiney, looks good. Works great... when it works.
- Cons: Hypersync flood error. Ordered 1st board from Newegg, DOA and had swapped out. Recieved 2nd board from newegg, installed and tested for about a month and it worked wonderfully then randomly encountered same issue. Tested with known-good components with recurring issue. Had an RMA sent to ASUS, recieved the same board I sent out unrepaired. Advanced RMA'd a new board and this one TOO had an identical problem. IMO poor engineering, poor quality control, a lot of fancy features that are useless without functionality.
- Other Thoughts: I would steer clear of this board. a consistantly recurring issue seems to be happening with this board regardless of configuration, bios version, etc. I've spent close to the cost of the board on RMA shipping at this point and have decided to just accept the loss and order from a different manufacturer.
Great motherboard
- Pros: This is a great product does everything that is advertised controols and monitors everything Fans, temp, boot, power, everything. runs cool and the on board graphics card scored a 5.9 in windows 7 64 bit i think that's pretty respectable for an onboard video.
