Pros: This board is great!!!!. Especially with gigabit lan. The gigabit lan is so fast and the 7.1 hd audio is amazing too... The shock or surge portection on this thing works!! Unluckily the surge feature had to be tested. but luckily it works!! :)

Cons: Only 2 pci 16's but hey this board is 129 so yeah you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: supports the amd flagship AMD phenom II X4 965 BE 125 watt right out of the box.

Pros: So far this motherboard has performed well with my AMD Phenom II 955 Black edition CPU. It has plenty of SATA options and the on board graphics works better than my old builds nVidia 6800 OC card. Lots of memory capacity and DDR3 1600 capable. Comes with plenty of over-clocking ability and software and ASUS's attention to detail.

Cons: The only real con I can think of is the fact that you can only connect 2 legacy hard drive/cd-roms to this board. It only has one ATA connector and can only support 2 devices. Not worth deducting an egg over though.

Other Thoughts: I read about another reviewers problems with this board and all I can say is that so far so good here. I have always had good luck with ASUS boards and have used them in many builds, have yet to have a DOA board. Maybe his issues are random bad luck or maybe theres another factor we are not aware of, I don't know.

Cons: SATA placement
