Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Great inexpensive motherboard - drives in Windows Vista and Windows 7 load automatically!
Cons: Not built for overclocking in mind
Other Thoughts: Some people who have no idea what there doing should learn/research BEFORE they think the can build a computer!
User error is way too common place for these OEM type of computer items and most negative reviews on newegg are from I_Diot s that have no idea what they are doing. Look for the smart informative reviews from people who know what they are doing and explain it in such a way as to indicate their knowledge base, then again, if you have no idea what your doing you will have no idea what they are talking about! So catch 22... Good luck - ASUS is always the best - they have great (well okay - but vastly better than others...) tech support and customer service!

Two headaches for one!

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Absolutely none. The fans kicked on and the CD drive spins, so I guess that's a plus... but nothing else worked. DOA.
Cons: Everything. No video, audio, wouldn't read hard drive, wouldn't allow video output through PCI video card. DOA.
Other Thoughts: Spent two weeks trying to build a computer for a client, ordered this mobo because they wanted a cheap build for basic computing. First mobo arrived DOA with problems stated above. Sent it back for a replacement. Second mobo arrived DOA as well. Ended up losing the client as they became impatient with the delays and went to Best Buy to buy a prebuilt PC. I don't know why this mobo sucks... buy cheap and receive cheap stuff, is apparently what the message is.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Everything on it works that I've tested, SATA, Video, Audio, keyboard port, Ethernet port.
Overclocked my E2220 from 2.4GHz to 2.9GHz and I think my low quality ram is holding me back.
Oh yea, the price, that's a pro.
Cons: Only 2 RAMM slots, my old board had 4 so I had to just take my highest capacity sticks which only leaves me at 1.5GB.
Other Thoughts: Very cheap and everything seems to work fine on it, I would buy again.
