4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Basically plug and play. Wish it supported more RAM

Cons: Driver disc doesn't include Win7 drivers. Need to download these. Some of the mobo apps seemed to have trouble with WinXP-x64

Other Thoughts: A solid board. The rear connectors didn't line up well with my case, but I don't know if that's the mobo or the case.

5 out of 5 eggsEpic

Pros: I bought this board in 2009 with the intention of using it in my gaming computer. 4 years later, this board still runs like a champ!! Not a single issue!

The most impressive part has been running pretty much as a server board for almost 2 years now....I'm talking running 24-7.....

Cons: Runs like a champ

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Plenty of USB slots, Sata Ports, Works Fast, love the 4 DDR2 Slots and the number of extra PCI slots it has.

Cons: just no video, and whatever you do. DO NOT UPDATE THE BIOS!

Other Thoughts: When I updated the BIOS downloaded from the asus website, things got very bad and at some point I couldnt get into bios and the CD that comes with it says the BIOS is too old for that motherboard...But I called ASUS and they did not hesitate to give me a replacement and that replacement came in fast! So I'm really satisfied with this product and ASUS.

5 out of 5 eggsStill works great

Pros: Baught June 2009, still works Great.
Everything works as it should.

Cons: None, I love this board.

Other Thoughts: When I was shopping for a CPU Upgrade I think I remember it saying it only suports up to a 95W CPU, but I don't see that anywhere now, it may have said that in the book.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Support!

Pros: Worked for a little over a year and a half.

Cons: Asus tech support wasn't helpful to figure out a problem with their product. I called because after a year and a half the board's storage controller seem to have failed. They had me RMA it, with out much troubleshooting. I received it 4 weeks later. After I hooked it all up, I found the board would not produce any video through the pci-e/pci slot graphics cards. I called them again, they couldn't understand my problem now. So, they gave me another RMA #. I asked for advanced placement, but they said there weren't any in stock. My recent experience with Asus tech support was unsatisfactory; in my opinion, their support, so far, was inexperience, slow, and counter productive.

Other Thoughts: I have dealt with Asus support before, both personally and through business. I have never had such a poor experience with Asus until recently

4 out of 5 eggsEven for the price, It aint that great.

Pros: -A ton of USB 2.0 ports
-Nice splash screen to hide POST
-Good power management
-Has ESata
-Handles many generations of AMD processors
-the Onboard 7.1 sound is quite good

Cons: -The Esata port behaves like a regular sata port. You cannot, for example, plug in an external drive while the computer is on. It will not be recognized unless you reboot with the drive plugged in and turned on. For a long time I thought that the port just flat out didn't work until I tested it in the bios randomly one day. They don't give any mention of this in the manual.
-Several of the USB ports aren't independent. They are basically split/shared which causes a loss of optimal performance amongst peripherals
-Onboard sound does sound nice, though there isn't an option for headphones. Also, a couple of the audio ports are mixed up and you have to be looking at the device setting so too exactly what you're plugging into.
-ASUS discontinued this almost as soon as it came out... You can find support in their legacy section but be ready for a hunt because it aint easy to find.

Other Thoughts: Don't understand the limitation on RAM speed. Really, I don't. And neither does ASUS' tech support. (Not a con, because tech support. derp.)
