Great Board
- Pros: Easy Easy Easy to install. I am using this mobo with a Phenom II 550 and it screams. Windows 7 makes drivers for this board a breeze, The only driver I needed to load was for "coprocessor" which has something to do with the nvidia chip set. This driver came with the CD included.
Overclocking this board is cake, either from the OS or Bios
- Cons: No firewire or E-Sata. Hybrid SLI is not compatible with a 9800 GT (as far as i know no hybrid SLI is compatible with any high end video card)
- Other Thoughts: Q-connectors make installation even faster. If you are even slightly familiar with motherboard installations you should be able to completely install this in less than 15 minutes plus OS install time.
I have plans to setup RAID 0 but due to Seagate's massive DOA problem I have had to put this on hold.
Good for a while
- Pros: Very good specs on paper. Decent layout. Good overclocking tools.
- Cons: I used to run my pc for 24hrs a day. After a month, i decided to shutdown it every night. There started the problem. It does not boot on. I have to try it 5-6 times to successfully boot it. The fans run, hard disc starts, dvd/blu ray driver works, but the booting does not start. If i manage to get it to boot, randomly the display goes off at the vista account login page. This happens 50% of the time. Sometimes, the resolution would be reset to 600x800 at bootup. Something is seriously wrong with this board. I am able to boot up properly after taking out my GTX 260 for the past 3 days. But, the resolution reset still happens. Also, the HDMI audio is not working for me. I am not bothered much by that.
- Other Thoughts: I have AMD Athlon 6000 processor. No overclocking. I feel that my processor fan noise has increased a bit after using this board. But, the idle temperature is 16C.

Not a Bad Board
- Pros: Board cam package nicely. Had risers for the case, layout was good. Came with a riser pin connector, so you did not have to strain your eyes to see the connection. Fit well in my CoolMaster case, overall good fit.
System is AMD3 proc 3.0 3g of Ram. OS Vista Bizz Segate 250g Sata, Segate 750g external. Using the rig for Wow gamming basically.
- Cons: Hmm well I am having a few Blue screens. In truth I think its from vista. Found that the express gate did not work with a Bluetooth mouse, but I uninstalled it anyway. Hybrid SLI could use a bit more explanation for the average user. Have to hit the power button twice ? Well..thats different. Need to have that one in the book.
- Other Thoughts: Been reading reviews about the Nic card not working. Maybe I am lucky, but I had zero issues. I loaded the drivers from the cd, then updated the Nvidia to current.
Running the hybrid SLI with a Nvidia 9600 GSO. I have wow running at high settings, (everything set to high) and getting a solid 45 FPS with Ony welps beating on me, and even 35 FPS in Dal (Wow guys know what I am talking about :p )
Will install Windows 7 when t comes in, and see what happens then. So far I am pleased, minus the Bluescreens of death, which I know is a Vista issue.
