5 out of 5 eggsMotherboard works very nicely, no hiccups

Pros: Sturdy piece of equipment which has served me well for my first build. Recognized all of my equipment on its first boot and hasn't let up an inch since. Integrated audio is very nice.

Cons: Honestly, none so far.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried the OCing features yet since I'm running a bit on the hot side as it is, so details on that will be forthcoming.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a solid motherboard with no quirks or vices that I can detect. I had a new machine up and running in a couple of hours, including unpacking. I had Windows seven going later. Great motherboard.

Cons: I haven't found one yet.

Other Thoughts: Someone tested this before I got it.

1 out of 5 eggsRAM Detection issues

Pros: Seems solid, Have many Asus MB's and not a single issue with them until now. Great Bios features.

Cons: First boot recognized all 6 Gb of RAM, all subsequent reboots would only show 4 Gb. Super common issue with the LGA 1366 socket. Tried everything, loosened cpu cooler (hyper 212+), checked for backplate shorts, checked for bent pins, manually adjusted voltages and timings, etc. Nothing worked. Could get the bios and W7 to post 6 Gb once and cpu-z always recognized the third DIMM. Upon closer inspection the mounting posts for the cpu cooler run right over top layer board traces (which visually run to the ram sockets). Could be trace damage due to cooler mounts which might explain why some have found solutions in nylon washers or less cooler tension.

Other Thoughts: Newegg support was top notch as usual, full store credit refund and prepaid return shipping. Haven't decided on a new board as of yet. EVGA or Gigabyte maybe, a little wary to purchase ASUS again because of the frequency of this issue. I will definitely be using nylon or cotton washers with this next installation.

5 out of 5 eggsi'll take it!

Pros: It was a solid purchase I cant complain too much. Fired up right away and gave no problems. Easy to set up raid (Make sure doing that put it on raid config and hit ctrl I not L (booklet they give you doesnt say that clearly..) But otherwise very satisfied.

Cons: Gave me troubles with Corsair Ram but its more on the RAM and how it was built than the XMP profile

Other Thoughts: Purchase it, great price, and you cant complain, being an ATI fan it just made it easy to get this and go without SLI!

5 out of 5 eggsBest 1366 value out there

Pros: Very cheap 1366 board. Overclocking abilities are stellar. I can get my 930 to 4.2ghz without much trouble at all. Who said this board was a compromise? It has all the features I need. Ask yourself if you yourself need all the fancy stuff that comes with more expensives mobos. You probably don't. This board overclocks just as good as boards in the $300 range.

Cons: It's not the sexiest board on the block. But it's a mobo. It doesn't make or break the beauty of your build. At least it feels pretty solid. Personally I think the bios could have been a bit better, but i am very biased since i'm used to gigabyte bios.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, for 80% of people this board is a no brainer. Don't kid yourself. You don't need a Rampage III. You don't. Unless you're doing quad SLI, then just forget it. This board is fine. Spend the extra $100 or so towards a better GPU.

1 out of 5 eggsRiddled with problems

Pros: Good features if they work.

Cons: Board is just not reliable.

Other Thoughts: I have used many ASUS boards in my builds, and this is the first I was disappointed with. It was riddled with problems from the start and unfortunately exceeded the RMA window before realizing it was the board at fault not other hardware. I cannot recommend using this board, if you do return it at the slightest sign of a problem, they will only get much worse.

1 out of 5 eggsMy First Asus Lemon?

Pros: Price and features let it sit nicely between cheap starter boards and high end boards.

Cons: PCIe ports are very close together making dual slot cards sit too close.
Quality control on these boards is terrible or perhaps the design is inherently flawed.

Other Thoughts: What the heck is with Asus on this board? It just has way too many issues. First board the RAID was a nightmare and Windows 7 would not even install. Next board had memory detection issues and the sound had static. Third and final board had hard lockups in Windows 7 about every hour. Every time the fault was a bad board? I am sticking with Asus for now, but getting a P6X58D instead.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard... When it works!

Pros: It supports everything you would need when building a high end computer. The low price is awesome!

Cons: With my build, I had a 6gb kit of xms ddr3 ram, but for some reason, the p6t only detected four, i determined that all the RAM sticks worked, so i returned the MOBO and now it detects all 6gb of ram.

Other Thoughts: This motherboard is great, but there are alot that are DOA. If you get a working one, you will be very happy!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Motherboard

Pros: 1. Good reliable board that's been working fine for 11 months.
2. Company keeps up with BIOS updates.

Cons: Integrated RAID controller isn't that reliable for RAID 5 and speed is worse than single disk. I haven't tried RAID 0 yet though. If you're planning to use this board for RAID 5 get a good dedicated RAID controller.

Other Thoughts: I plan to overclock with this motherboard when I get a chance to upgrade the cooler on the CPU.
