Great, when pc doesn't hang up
- Pros: great overclocking ability very nice gaming motherboard
- Cons: slots too close together not enough sata slots audio riser card useless. usb slots hangs up computer when left in the pc
- Other Thoughts: After leaving asus for aawhile and going to abit, i found myself looking back at asus for a new pc build. Had it narrowed down to this mobo and the msi one, went with this one loved the mobo , great overclocker even for a novice overclocker like myself. My main gripes are these; 1.) not enough sata slots, 2.) the main problem is that my pc freezes up at random, thought it was from overclocink the mobo using the upgrade feature , but that was not the problem, it seem to only happen when i plug in a usb device like my mp3 player and leave the cable plug in, then there is a lound pitching sound from the speakers. If this continues to happen i think i will rma this mobo and go with MSi
ASUS where is new BIOS???
- Pros: None
- Cons: Came with 903 bios that desn't support 965 CPUs. The best i can get is enter bois for 5sec before it freezes... and u cannot update it gg ASUS and Newegg. Sent RMA CPU and MB i hope new one will be with 1003 bios. I don't want to buy older CPU just to update BIOS and make the system work!!!

- Pros: Didnt have to flash bios or anything, worked right of box with my phenom 2 965
- Cons: For some reason my second pcix16 slot didnt like my eah 4890 and wouldnt run games properly, so I switched it and now it runs perfectly.
