Asus makes quality boards.
- Pros: This board replaced my older ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe. This M4A785TD-V EVO worked so perfectly and stable right out of the box that i hesitate to update the bios just yet. Asus tools included on the install cd make overclocking painless. This board is so beautiful to look at..it makes me wish i had a transparent case:-)
Running Win 7 Ultimate 64 with nary a hiccup...yet
- Cons: The cpu fan power socket could have been a bit closer to the cpu, it took a little stretching to get it plugged in. Other than that i'm very happy so far.
Do not buy
- Pros: ..... it was cheap.... good specs..... poorly made though
- Cons: this board has too many issues... if you are planning to anything that requires a little pressure on a video card this MoBo is not for you. you will get freezing, video drive failures, directx failures, "stop and go" game play, blue screens, flashing monitor... sometimes a slight connectivity issues
- Other Thoughts: i say go spend and extra 60 or so bucks and get a MoBo that is going to work... I am truely regretting my purchasing this board... the lesson If you going to get great hardware dont ever skimp on Mobo no matter how good the specs are, its that cheap for a reason and it usually doesnt involve a new model...
Great Motherboard
- Pros: The internal graphics can play most any game. When the graphics get intensive it will still play the big games but on low settings. I love the BIOS settings very stable and easy to use.
- Cons: Some of the boards physical setup should be better.
