2 out of 5 eggsMemory Problems - only worked with 4g of ram

Pros: Easy to setup, easy to update bios.

Cons: I bought 8g of compatible memory and first installed all 4 sticks. It seemed to work fine for about a week but then I started getting bsod several times a day. I tested all of the memory, they seemed fine but I decided to see how it worked with only 4g of memory and it worked fine and still does to this day. The problem is I do a lot of multitasking and with programs that use so much ram these days my computer slows down significantly.

Other Thoughts: The Asus website is really bad and their support is lousy. I tried for months to get this problem fixed but in the end they essentially said "sorry, don't know." I've had a lot of issues with various Asus products lately (monitors, bluray drives) so I'm going to be wary of purchasing anything new from them.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Solid Mobo

Pros: Good performance at a very reasonable price. Still running strong with zero issues after 2 and a half years.

Cons: I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: This board was definitely worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsGood MoBo

Pros: +Fast, plenty of expansion

+Large for easy installation

Cons: -Self debugging on start-up takes more time than I'd like, but then again that's being nit picky.

3 out of 5 eggsAsus Board

Pros: I have had several Asus motherboards and have really liked them. It is a nice, uncluttered board with good basic layout.

Cons: This board arrived with a dead memory slot which drove me nuts trying to figure out what was going on. There are not enough fan plug ins to run all of the fans in my case. While the lights that indicate where problems exist might be useful, I prefer a digital post to help troubleshoot.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Board

Pros: Nice Board!
I bought mine here on Newegg as an Open Box. Looked like brand new, all accessories were in the box and it worked without any problem. I also purchased a new i5-70 CPU, 4 GB Ripjaw Ram and MSI N465GTX Twin Frozr II Gold Edition Video Card and this build went very smooth.
OC for the CPU and Memory went well and very easy and stable. The MSi 465 GTX afer a Bios Flash is now a 470 GTX and has extra ram 1280 , shaders 448, and Bus width is at 320 running at Stock 480 GTX Settings!

Cons: Not anything bad about this board in my eyes!

Other Thoughts: Great board for the money and easy to setup and get up and running in about an hour or so if you have experience.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Well laid out board. Lots of connections. Lots of OCing capabilities.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I had one issue when setting up this board. I put 2 sticks of G.Skill DDR-3 1600 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL) memory in slots A1 and B1. It only recognized one stick. Tried 2 sticks in B1 and B2, and it saw all 4gb, but obviously not running in dual channel. After much testing, it turned out the A1 and A2 slots were not recognizing memory.

After requesting an RMA for this board, I solved this issue by re-seating the CPU! If your BIOS is only seeing some of the memory, try re-seating the CPU.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Easy setup, nothing special to be noted. Just make sure to plug in power where it has to go and fire it up. Built two PCs with these board and no problems with either.

Cons: None yet.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent for price..doesn't last long.

Pros: Seems like a solid motherboard for the price. Everything was pretty easy to install and get back to in the case.

Cons: 2 of the RAM slots were broken/unresponsive on the board...but I decided not to return it right away because I didn't plan on upgrading from my 8GB ddr3 anyways. Well, after a while 2 of the SATA ports became unresponsive. I waited 3 days for my friend to bring me over a temporary board so I can send this one back. Today all of the usb ports failed.
