Comments: This board is awesome! I built my first machine ever with this and i was so nervous to press the power button the first time, but it powered up without any problems. It's very stable and has lots of features! I guess that what i get planning, searching for best parts and saving money for over 1 year, and finally I GOT IT!

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: For my first PC build I chose this mobo and an Athlon XP 3000+. No problems with the build and the system has run been running fine for 1 month. Have exercised all functionality except RAID. Will definitely look at ASUS first for future builds.

5 out of 5 eggsBest brand.

Comments: Asus has always been the best brand when it comes to making Mother Boards. This specific one is definitly one of its best made by asus. I currently am running 15 of these my self and they are the best for anything and they also come with the OK audio system and the Lan ports. Also there is a lot of USB ports, never worry about running out of those. Overall I rate this board a 5 Star product.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Timer

Comments: This was my first time building a PC. I chose this board so I wouldn't have to salvage a bunch of stuff from my old PC (sound, network, firewire, etc.) Everything went off without a hitch. I haven't had a problem with the onboard audio. Both NICs show up, firewire and USB 2 work fine. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! NewEgg is awesome! Friendly people and fast service.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent MB

Comments: This was my first at building a PC by myself. The A7N8X Deluxe worked great, although I did have some problems initially getting the Samsung 120gb SATA HD drivers installed....problem was me, not the board. I had gotten the floppy drive cable backwards...anyway, once installed the board ran great right off the bat. No problems so far. My system is A7N8X-Deluxe, AMD 3000+ CPU, 1GB twin sticks Kingston HyperX 3200, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128, 480watt ps, Samsung 120g SATA.

4 out of 5 eggsCard Good - No Sound

Comments: After a month or so of research I decided to build my first PC with my son using the 7N8X Deluxe. The board it self is great but I have yet to get the onboard audio to work. I have loaded several "recommended" after market drivers and still does not work. Could not send it back, to much time invested so I ended up buying a PCI soundcard. My recommendation would be not to buy the deluxe. If I could do it over I would have bought the
Asus nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "A7N8X" -RETAIL(New Version, now support AMD Barton 400MHz). As far as Newegg, it is the best site out there. Excellent service.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade

Comments: I bought this and an AMD Barton 2500+ about 4 months ago. Very nice board. Installation was a breeze. I also have the cross labeled fan headers. I thought at first ASUS PROBE was wrong.

I have the 2500 oc'd to 2800 with 333 ram running 36 degrees at idle. Very nice setup. I will get another one for the wife's machine when it goes.

Very nice board for the price. Has nearly every option you need. The only add-in card I have is a video card.
