5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Board

Pros: Supports everything that I needed
Fast graphics subsystem
Two ethernet ports
Easy processor access

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This review has come out somewhat late but this was my first purchase from Newegg and they will not let you down when it comes to computer parts!

5 out of 5 eggsStill Works

Pros: Great mobo. It still works... going on 9 years or so and no problems with two gigs of Gskill can still surf the internet and play old games. It outlasted a Geforce 6600gt and two power supplies, (it even survived an exploding cap incident with a bad psu, that psu left a mark on the wall but not on the Asus). Go Asus go!

Cons: (Even when new) Nforce 2 is sometimes unstable.

Other Thoughts: I am interested to see just how long this motherboard is going to last.

4 out of 5 eggsGood board/Bad Drivers

Comments: After you download the drivers off the Internet things go smoothly afterwards. The driver disk is for Windows 98/ME which Microsoft doesn't support anymore!!!! Don't understand that. Other than that for the price you can't beat this board!!! Installed the AMD 2800 Barton and it HAULS SOME SERIOUS TAIL!!!! I've pasted the link below for the Drivers you'll need for XP, have fun.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Comments: This board just screams "BUY ME!" Bought it, installed it, didn't have a problem with it at all. The features that are included with it are well worth every penny. I had to switch from a "bargin" Biostar board that went out on me. Should have spent the extra in the first place, but trust me...once you get this board installed, you'll know where that extra money went to. This is a great board!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent motherboard

Comments: Overall I like the board, but the onboard Gigabit ethernet doesn't work so I give it three stars. I just put another network card in, so I decided not to RMA it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Comments: This board is great. the reason I gave it 4 eggs and not 5 is beacuse Asus didn't give me the sata drivers. I had to go download them. I did have a problem with it not turning on for a little bit but that was because the 20 pin power came unpluggged a little bit. other than that no problems. Great board. BTW I added the link if anyone needs it.

2 out of 5 eggsgood luck

Comments: this board has so many good reviews...and that's the only reason why i purchased it...to see how good this is with corsair xms rams... paired with 3200 ddr400 xms twins and xp3000...this thing would not even turn on the monitor...changed monitor 3 times thinking that it monitors fault...changed video card twice, changed ram to kingston...tried another CPU from my other COM...nothing....nothing....black screen is all i'm seeing on the monitor...
so i tried ASUS RMA which did not do anything other than take a looking at the board and saying "nothing wrong with your board"....
hmmm...nothing wrong with board??? then what other component is there to be wrong???
i probably received a bad board but this is everyone's worst nightmare...getting a DOA board.
and i can see a lot more people have same problem like mine...
buyer beware and good luck!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MOBO!

Comments: I am running this MOBO with an AMD Sempron 2400, 1 gb RAM, 80 gb HDD, 256 mb Video, NEC dual-layer DVD burner, and a 3.5" floppy. I still have tons of room to expand and the MOBO was nice and easy to work with. I had to download some drivers from the asus support site b.c Win XP does not recognize SATA 150 HDD but that is not the MOBO issue. Everything plugged in easily and it cranked up the first time. As always Newegg shipped quickly and service was great. Also, if you have to call asus their service rocks as well.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I would say that this is one of the best nForce2 MB so far. Paired with 2500+ Barton and 512x2 of Geil Memory... All I can say is "WOW".
