5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This board has a very nice layout for the P55 series and comes with a lot of features. I am a gamer and at first was skeptical about going with the p55 but i can honestly say with this motherboard i am not disapointed by anymeans. This board was a great from the start. It booted right up recognized all my hardware. and the best part is it overclocks so nicely and stays cool with the 32+3 phase power design. Running 5850's in crossfire overclocked my core i5 to 3.8Ghz and oc'd memory from 1600 to 1800. STABLE on air cooling. I am very satisifed

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: If your on a budjet and want performance. This is the way to go. Im sure this board can do much more that what i have already done but it plays all the latest games nice and smoothly with a healthy stable overclock THANKS ASUS AND NEWEGG!!

5 out of 5 eggsTo Stephanie

Pros: This board does everything

Cons: What cons?

Other Thoughts: Stephanie has no clue what she is talking about. The motherboard supports WIN 7. Why would it not?

Please don't post comments when you haven't got a clue

Pros: To the review below, the P5E6 isn't even a Corei5/i7 board. Please place reviews for the correct product. This board DOES support Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit. All drivers are on ASUS's website. This board also has SATA 6Gb/s to handle upcoming Solid State Drives.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsSteer clear, ASUS asleep at the wheel.

Pros: I own this board as well as EVGA and Gigabyte. I'm using this as a venue, however, to inform readers that ASUS P5E64 WS EVOLUTION LGA 775 Intel X48, a relatively recent board, does not support Win7. Absolutely amazing. FYI

Cons: ASUS

Other Thoughts: ASUS really is asleep at the wheel.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet memories

Pros: will buy soon!!!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: they dont have a QVL list for this board but i will bet the memory the guy used only workes in two of the memory slots like on my P7P55 WS..on the left side of the QVLyou will find the A,B, AND C, columns... if the c column is marked it will work with 4 sticks of that type of ram

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your review. The QVL is available now on http://support.asus.com -> click 'Download' -> in top left corner type "P7P55D Premium". The QVL is the first category listed.

Best Regards,

ASUS Support Team

1 out of 5 eggsSave your Money

Pros: Every feature you could possibly think of in a p55 mother board. With high quality parts throughout. With the possable exception of the cpu socket.

Cons: This board absolutely refuses to recognise memory in the a2 and b2 slots. which limits you to 4GB. The 4 sticks 2G Corsair memory I'm using is on the QVL but it will only work in the a1 and b1 slots.I also tried some Kingston memory I had on hand with the same result. So I'm running with 4Gigs in single channel mode. Obviously, I didn't pay top dollar for this hence the one star.

Other Thoughts: Strange I've had excellent results with other ASUS motherboards. The memory passed the windows memory test on my other this and my 3 other machines so its clearly something with motherboard.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues with this board. It sounds like your board has bad memory slots. Please contact us at http://vip.asus.com/eservice/usa_rmaserv.aspx so that we may get more details about your system configuration and assist you with the RMA process.

Best Regards,

ASUS Support Team
