1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Customer Service

Pros: NONE

Cons: Asus has terrible customer service. Motherboard went out in a month, had a tech service look into it and send motherboard to asus to be replaced. Three months later they finally sent a 'New' one back. Tech service look into the new board and found physical damage had been done to the board and that there was errors in the system itself. Never again will i buy asus products!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Sorry to hear about the issues. Please contact us at Newegg_ASUS_MBSupport@asus.com stating all assigned RMA numbers and we will look into this for you.

Regards
ASUS Customer Support

3 out of 5 eggsIts very iffy

Pros: The pros are its ASUS which until this board was a positive its also one of the higher end boards at a reasonable price which will only continue to go down. It runs the I3 nicely.

I had recently owned a ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe the board held up for 8 years of highly extensive computing/gaming (12 hours + a day)

Cons: The cons are that the Onboard Lan was complete garbage and I imagine its because of the onboard lan they put on this board. So don't buy this board planning on plugging in ethernet and firing it up and being all good.. Cause you might have to put a network card in it also...

One more thing I want to mention if you run the

One thing I wish ASUS would do is get rid of these color coated wires for the case functionality (Power , Reset) I got big fingers and trying to get those stupid things on the right prong is a pain in the neck...

The final thing I would mention is if your on this video card XFX HD-583X-ZAFV Radeon HD 5830 this motherboard will not recognize it , its partly the motherboards fault and its partly ATI's fault. My P5LD2 recognized this video card fine , however this P7P55D-E Pro doesn't there is about 2 inches of flex on the Video card (due to the build of the video card) and that causes this motherboard not to recognize it however the older ASUS boards do.

Other Thoughts: If I knew what I know now I wouldn't of bought this board unless I was running a Nvidia card prior to the purchase , and had a lan card lying around..

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great but, . . .

Pros: works awesome, usb 3.0 and sata 6gb/s ports are really nice.

Cons: Missing a pin on a case fan input and as previously stated; Asus support is terrible. Over the phone they said that they would need to review the motherboard and determine whether or not they would fix it for free. The price of the repair($80-$100) was not worth the effort. The reason for the 5 eggs is that my case fans were all integrated into one connection and there is another on the board so I lucked out.

Other Thoughts: Asus is great so long as you don't get a lemon

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board for Great Price

Pros: Great Board. Fast, very compatible for the 1156 Socket. I have been running an Intel Core i3-530 overclocked at 4ghz for seven months and i have no issues with this board. I would recommend this board for anybody who cannot afford the new sandy bridge mobos. I game hours on end and never have a hiccup.

Cons: NONE AT ALL.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stable Motherboard

Pros: I have owned this board for over a year and have not had any issues.
The Auto Tuning overclocking feature works great and got my i5-750 up to 3.71GHz
I did not have the issue where the board makes a whining noise

Cons: N/a

Other Thoughts: I recommend buying one of these is your looking for a solid p55 motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsEdit

Pros: I reviewed this board before complaining about cap whine and ethernet not working. I fixed ethernet by just reseting bios and I've not had problem since. The cap noise I thought I was hearing turns out to be my gpu fan whining.

Cons: I only use 2 ram slots and I think my other channel isn't working since it failed to post when I used them. Other then that it works flawlessly.
