1 out of 5 eggsASUS Has disappointed

Pros: The board worked great for about 3 months

Cons: I tried to get ahold of ASUS for an RMA and they told me the board serial number didn't match the Model Number. I think something fishy is going on here. Like they have made a loop hole in the system to not have to RMA a broken or defective item. This highly disappoints me. I have loved ASUS for years and always pushed their products. And after all this they lady on the phone just hung up on me. I am SEVERELY disappointed with them

Other Thoughts: I will NEVER build another customer a PC with an ASUS product in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value MB

Pros: Great features for the price. Once again, ASUS has put together a nice mix of features that are compatible with 90% of OS that you would install. I especially liked the option to reuse older technology RAM or bump up into newer technology RAM.

Cons: Not enough mount points on this Micro-ATX board to give it a secure feel when you snap in PCI cards. It flexes too much for my personal comfort.

Other Thoughts: I have always liked ASUS MB because they just seem to work right out of the box with little or no BIOS tweaking. I am not an Over-clocker so I cannot comment on its capabilities. I have other MB's from [insert big name vendor here] that costs almost twice as much for what seems like half as many features and need BIOS tweaks right out of the box.

5 out of 5 eggsHassle, but worth it.

Pros: The board is great and it's a great upgrade from my old one, at a great price too.

Cons: Noe so far. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Other Thoughts: I bought this board and plugged it in but it would not boot up, i did some troubleshooting and noticed that the manual said it needs at least 400w to power up, so i bought a new 600w power supply and plugged it in and it didn't work, so i did even more troubleshooting and found that my socket 775 processor was incompatible with this board, i went to the Asus site and looked the board up and it shows a list of all the compatible CPU's and i ended up buying a Intel e1200 which is the least expensive dual core supported, after all this i put it in and it worked, now I'm happy.

So my advice to you is, check that everything is compatible before you buy a motherboard!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board for a Great Price!

Pros: This board was very easy to configure and install; came with all the necessary parts, and has a very clean layout.

Cons: None for myself, the board fit the purpose it was intended for.

Other Thoughts: Great board for the price! Currently running with an E6750 Core 2 Duo @ 2.66Ghz, 2 x 1GB of DDR3-10333, and a WD 250GB Harddrive. Even got the inexpensive OEM Asus Burner to boot!

5 out of 5 eggsGood board

Pros: Price, Options, Neweggs service and delivery.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: First board had problems and was RMA. No problems, this happens, Newegg took care of it. It is a very nice board. Started out with Intel E6500 Dual core, 4GB Crucial DDR3 1066MHz memory, Rosewill copper tube cooler. 3 weeks ago decided it needed a little more scoot. Ordered up a Intel cd E8400 and 2 sticks of 4GB Crucial DDR3 1333MHz. A little work in the BIOS of the board and we were off. A little more tha scoot now.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought it to upgrade HP a1110n. Fit in case perfectly. ALL connections were exact fit...lights, switches, etc. They are all connected in one block. Lucked out there... Put in a E6700 and 2 gigs ram I had laying around. I also purchased an MSI R4650-MD1G to complete the system. Booted right up. Bios was up to date. I used MYLogo to put in a cool Fallout3 screen I found online.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: This is an awesome motherboard that comes with useful utilities.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I read the review that radarrulz_2000 posted and I have to say that I'm glad that I didn't get any DOA mobo. It is a great motherboard though.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks what a cheap mobo should

Pros: The board works and all, though I was expecting more.

Cons: I do not know if I have a board that is damaged or it could be my setup. The computer takes about 17 minutes to POST (yes, I timed it). Flashed a newer BIOS swap hard drives, boot with one RAM stick, reinstall Windows 7, almost everything, but to no avail. The only option is swapping the processor, Pentium D 820, to see if it is just a voltage problem.

Other Thoughts: Was not much of a problem to me, since this board was used in a server computer. I just keep it on all the time.

If anyone cannot get to it POST try to wait it out a bit and see if it actually POSTs
