5 out of 5 eggslove it!

Pros: very sturdy board, overclocking is a breeze!

Cons: nada

Other Thoughts: My first attempt at overclocking was done with this board. I have to say, I had VERY little trouble, this board makes it SO easy. Love the thermal armor, it makes it look like it can take a lot of punishment.

5 out of 5 eggsThe One N Only Board for Me

Pros: Has performed flawlessly from day one and lots of useful no nonsense features (USB 3.0, SATA III, Ect. ). With the assist fan installed the thermal armor actually serves its purpose, and it looks good too. Also the EFI BIOS is a winner in my book. Was able to OC I7 2700k to a stable 5.0 !! WOOT WOOT

Cons: Absolutely None

Other Thoughts: Have had many boards from many different manufactures and I have to say this is a contender for being my favorite so far. This board paired with I7 2700k and GTX 570 can handle anything while still being affordable !

4 out of 5 eggsGood board, decent value

Pros: Looks good, performs well, lots of features. Haven't had any issues with any functionality of this board. Little pricey for what you get considering many competitors were $20+ cheaper.

Cons: Not sure what the TUF Armor actually does...just seems to be a plastic shell to protect the board and help promote airflow. Protect, yes. Airflow, not certain. Either way, it is nice to have the protection from dust or anything that might short a motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Solid board, pricey, great features.

5 out of 5 eggsROCK SOLID

Pros: I bought this motherboard two years ago, when I first pressed to power ON button I had nothing but problems with the board but as I later found out It was a G.Skill 16 GB memory Kit that had 2 faulty sticks, once I got the memory replaced by NewEggs more than impressive costumer support things changed.

Motherboard has been nothing but a very positive experieence, paired with i5-2500k and GTX 570 the system is rock solid, I have never had any issues, no system crushes during normal usage or while playing games, the only time i had some issues was where I wanted to max out the cpu but that was most likely me doing something wrong.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I don't usually write any reviews but this product calls for one for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsB-E-A-utiful...

Pros: A great board. The enclosure is not only very pleasing to the eye, but it works great at keeping temperatures low. Everything about it works flawlessly, except:

Cons: A single faulty temp gauge - not sure if hardware or software related, but as long as you keep an eye on the others during stress tests, there shouldn't be a problem. Also, despite the design with the 'enthusiast' in mind, two PCI-E ports leave it a bit behind on the scale...

5 out of 5 eggsAwesomeness

Pros: This mobo is simply amazing the parts that comply with it are easy to find. I recommend vengeance ram with this mobo. The ease at which it keeps the components cool is off the charts. the ram test button is genius.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Definitely buy an intel 2nd gen processor with this mobo. It works the best with intel.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat mobo!

Pros: -i was quite skeptical on the thermal armor really helping, bygod it does, not a HUGE difference, but a little heat is too much right?
-its a very classy design and could be painted if want to mod...
-temps stay fairly cool. found no real reason to WC the mobo at this moment, unless for asthetics
-this is everything im looking for in a motherboard! minus the cons

Cons: -be sure to read specs... only has 2 pci-e. im running sli, want a sound card but cant.
-wish the USB 3 was mounted on its side like sata ports, my big usb 3 cable is ugly...
-my biggest complaint isnt on so much the motherboard, as more the manufacturer. i love asus, but the software could be better. temps read wrong and if you do your research, sometimes the usb/sata temps read 120c+. this is a flaw in the software. all temps on the ai suite dont match up with ANY other software (HW monitor, Speccy, ect)

Other Thoughts: really though, outside of the small flaws, this motherboard rocks! glad i picked it up. a very strong 4, almost 4.5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsa great motherboard

Pros: nice looking, matches my case pretty well, and i love the user interface bios. the built on POST is great to have

Cons: i wish it included a 50mm fan cause it is pretty hard to find one that fits and the AI Suite is a tiny bit buggy
and also the ram only has a clip on one side so it is somewhat easy to not put the ram in all the way

1 out of 5 eggsCan't wake up from sleep

Pros: It's great when it works. See below.

Cons: Can't wake up the motherboard from sleep. Once it goes to sleep it usually crashes on resume. Many people who bought this mobo are having this problem. I've tried all the fixes that were mentioned on forums and still can't get sleep to work. My next motherboard won't be Asus.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issue you had with the motherboard.

If you're overclocking, please try to return to stock values by pressing F5 to load defaults. Also, try setting Internal PLL Overvoltage to Disabled, or lower the frequency of your memory,

Inability for the system to come out of sleep may be caused by a component having incorrect wake states. For example, you can you try disabling power saving options in Device Manager for devices installed in your system. Try disabling hybrid sleep in Windows: Power Options > Change plan settings > Change Advanced Power settings > Sleep > Allow hybrid sleep > Off. Also, you can try disabling power saving feature for USB devices in Device Manager > Uinversal Serial Bus controllers > USB Hub > Power Management tab > uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

You can also use Event Viewer in Windows to identify if there are any errors when you wake the computer from sleep and can help you pinpoint which device.

Regards,
Benson

4 out of 5 eggsDecent - Good

Pros: Have had no problems. BIOS has plenty of features, enough ports and such for my needs.

Cons: Thermal armour may interfere with your after-market heat sink, be sure to double check orientation of the heat sink to find the position of any clips or other bits that may jut out. (mine blocked the ram slots)
