5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Arrived fine and worked great from the start. The disk installed all the software for it and it's been perfect! Bluetooth is a great addition to it.

Cons: It once started detecting my removable drive as a internal HDD. After a couple google searches i found i just had to change the disk set up in bios. Easy fix, not really a huge deal.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ease of installation, power and reset buttons located on the board, ease of overclocking. Includes a very handy adapter to connect the various small front panel cables.

Cons: Nothing significant.

Other Thoughts: Bought to replace a shorted ASRock motherboard (which I loved till the day it died). Hardware is almost identical, except for a lower PCIE slot for the graphics card which left a blank space in the rear of my case due to break-away covers.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked for me..

Pros: Over clocking was simple, power consumption adequate.

I've used this board for a year now, and while not as good as the sabertooth board, still does a great job. This one is in our media computer. Have had no issues with video rendering or game playing in the rig that this is in. Yes this may have to do with other components as well, but definitely can't argue about the board mounting those components.

Cons: Ram compatibility. The Ram is indeed VERY specific. Tried to place identical ram in the board that is from the same manufacturer but not on the specific list that is included with the Motherboard and yeah....didn't work. Same timings, Same size, just not happening. Used Ram in a different machine so i know they work. Just didn't work on this one. It is very peculiar about the what ram it will take.

Other Thoughts: Based on what many other people were saying about the SATA 6G ports, i didn't use them. So can't comment on them. Still, if you want a decent budget 1366 board, i think this one provides plenty of power for what it costs. Are there better boards out there? Well yeah, it's been what...almost 3 years now? Still better than the 1155 chipset.....just my opinion though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: easy overclocking
worked out of the box

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: This replaced a faulty mb as i did not want to upgrade my i7950. I have a stable oc of 3.8GHz with a Thermalright 120 air cooled heat sink.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly

Pros: Functions exactly as it says. Recognizes all 24GB of RAM, both 6GB/s SATA hard drives. Fairly easy to set up.

Cons: BIOS did not recognize that the hard drives were SATA 6GB/s. Had to change default configuration from IDE to AHCI in order to recognize them. Same with the 2000MHz RAM, had to change the default to XMP in order for it to recognize the speed they should be running at.
But otherwise easily found out by reading the manual and knowing the specs of what I bought.

Other Thoughts: System build:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570
Intel i7-960
Patriot Viber Extreme 2 sets of triple channel 4GB
Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SATA 6GB/s SSD
Western Digital 1TB SATA 6GB/s HDD
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

1 out of 5 eggsAlmost every aspect of this board functions poorly

Pros: None

Cons: I am a proffessional builder who puts together 3+ custome pc's and HTPC's a week. This build was for a client to run proffessional audio software via firewire and wanted onboard bluetooth.

The bluetooth causes massive feedback and even when disabled via bios re-enables at will, The marvell controler regularly refuses to recognize the OZ SSD and other SATA devices.

In the last three years of PC building I have never been so displeased with a product will update review post customer service.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Sorry to hear about the issues. Please contact us at stating all parts used and we will look into this for you.

1 out of 5 eggsFALSE CLAIMS

Pros: None

Cons: ASUS SATA-III 6Gb/s claims on this board are FALSE. You will never see anywhere close to 6Gb/s speeds on either of the SATA-III 6Gb/s ports which are controlled by the Marvel 9128 controller.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking at this board and plan on using a high end 6Gb/s SSD with it, forget it. Look at forums on the web. The Mavel chipset is very poor. Don't buy this board.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective motherboard

Pros: Haven't found one yet - other than it looks nice sitting in the case..........

Cons: Customer service is almost non-existant. I ordered 16GB of 1600 Mhz RAM only to find (after reading the VERY fine print in the documentation that came with the board) that this board sees a maximum of 8GB of 1600 Mhz - had to return RAM & order 1333! After several problems that appeared to be with the video card (system would not boot after downloading the video card drivers, video card also an ASUS product). Now the mobo will not POST and I can't get thru to customer service for an RMA. Tried their E-Mail request and waited 72 hours with no responce. Tried to get thru on the phone yesterday (every half hour) and their line is consistantly busy. I will try again today and tomorrow..................................... If I am unsuccesful in contacting them in the next 48 hours I will consider it a lost cause and buy someone else's product!

Other Thoughts: I have several computers built on ASUS platforms and have had a great experience thus far with them. It is true that one bad apple spoils the whole barrell and this experience with ASUS has definately soured me on their customer service and therefore their product . I purchased this mobo on November 25th 2011 and have not been able to get it to work

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfect

Pros: The board does everything I need it to. I haven't tried overclocking anything yet as I have no need to, but I haven't crashed or blue screened once in the several months that I have had it.

Cons: None
