1 out of 5 eggsBuggy Board

Pros: *Asus usually has good quality and expected the same

Cons: *one DIMM slot doesn't work so 8Gbs instead of 16
*now the USB ports don't work and computer randomly shuts down

Other Thoughts: This is my fourth computer build all with ASUS. This board totally let me down. I've been messing with it and now it's past the one year point. Not looking forward to rebuilding. Not sure if I want an ASUS. Very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsupdate, now running Ivy..

Pros: been solid from day one, replaced ASRock Z68 Pro3-M.
updated BIOS and now runs Ivy, booted right up without problems.
mATX with solid VRM and GUI BIOS, other Z68 features.

Cons: not caring for CF-X and not running dual GPU's @ x16/x4 anyways.
so motherboard layout could be better for me with a PCI-e slot.
(that's all)

Other Thoughts: had to swap out PCI-e to PCI TV tuner because of board layout change.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice, but a little cramped

Pros: This is a relatively cheap, nice mobo. As per usual with ASUS, it has all the nice perks for a motherboard: USB 3.0, Z68, SATA III, UEFI BIOS, etc. A good, solid ASUS motherboard.

Cons: I have to say, Micro ATX motherboards are a bit small for my taste. I suppose this is a matter of preference, but keep in mind that with micro ATX, there's fewer PCI expansion slots. Also, remember to check that your case for micro ATX compatibility, sometimes people forget to do that.

5 out of 5 eggsThis board rocks for HTPC!!

Pros: High quality build and material. Good user manual. USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gb/s. As for looks - a sexy looking board in black and blue.
Solid performer and great for HTPC!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Built HTPC in April with this board and it has pretty much been on 24/7 since except for cleaning and a couple of re-boots for general purpose. NO ISSUES.
I find that if you read the instructions given, take your time, and do a little research, generally you won't have to RMA anything or have issues!
These are electronic parts, they have to be treated with come care and common sense, they generally don't like stuff like water or static electricity. Just saying!
My only problem now is debating if I want to use this board again or step up to a Z77 board!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: Easy to install and setup. Love all the features and the way it performs. Make sure before you do anything you upgrade the BIOS and run the Mem OK otherwise you will get frustrated with the reboots or crashes.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggssolid board, no complaints..

Pros: ASUS Pro (model) board with all the features
mATX model
cool ASUS blue themed
Z68 chippy

Cons: it's what I was looking for but would like to have a cheaper price of course, I did get mine for $110 though.
x16/x4 = CF-X only in case someone wondered
I run nVidia but not wanting dual GPU's for this unit anyways

Other Thoughts: Z68 chippy allows me to play with an i3-2120 and tweak it a little bit
also set RAM to 1600MHz
updated BIOS and the user friendly BIOS is even better

5 out of 5 eggsGood little Asus Z68 Motherboard.

Pros: Well, this is a good little Asus Z68 Motherboard for 2 months now. It runs at a good temperature and is pleasant to own and operate. It is sturdy in the build and improves with time.

Cons: no cons.

Other Thoughts: I wrote a review before when i first got this board. But it improves with time so i thought that i should mention that. This board was a little stiff at first but after 2 months it has broken in well and runs just fine. It proves to be a good board and so it is recommended. Newegg has the good boards so i should mention that i got this board in early may and it was built new in january 2012 so it says on the box that it can handle the new ivy bridge cpus. Cheers to Newegg (once you know, you newegg.)

1 out of 5 eggsWhat happened to ASUS quality

Pros: I thought it would be because of ASUS. 1155, easy overclocking. VGA, DVI, HDMI. 32 GB RAM.

Cons: ASUS quality is gone or seriously lacking with this board. USBs headers all in a row at the bottom edge of board. Can live with that, but the SATA ports are bucnhed up to the lower right corrner. Routing of SATA and USB cables all flowing through the same general space. Forget about using the Serial port if you need it. Top right edge hdden behind all the PS cables. If you need to use TPM or parallel (ok maybe not) ports, power cable and hard drive bays will make them fun to use. Good luck with that.

What can I say... location, location, location. This board misses. OK... one plus... at least all headers/ports are perpendicular to the face of the MB. Have had MBs with ports/headers on the edge of the board.

Other Thoughts: Now lets talk quality... I thought ASUS is/was the best.

Have used nothing but their boards on PC builds for my use. Have used cheaper boards on other boxes for friends or family because of cost. But, I thought you get the quality you pay for. I got it locally as a I5 2500k CPU/MB combo deal for under $300.

First MB was DOA. Second lasted just past 30-day instore return. Sound and LAN ports died, had to RMA to ASUS. Got "fixed" board back in just under 2 weeks, I thought great. WRONG! Still not 100%... sound port still dead. Working on second "expedited" RMA with ASUS. Hopefully they will get it right this time.

I'm glad this review is not about Newegg. I like Newegg and have/will continue to purchase from them.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board

Pros: great board

Cons: some things are a little too close, like the ram and the cpu fan area.
The face plate was a kinda hard to get on there right, but it was my first time building so.

Other Thoughts: great board!
