5 out of 5 eggsGot it in 2011, it's still working fantastically.

Pros: I have never had a problem with it, it always works smoothly without fail. I built my first computer ever and this motherboard came highly recommended from my more tech-savvy friends and I can see why.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this late 2011, and it still handles all of my gaming no problem. If/when I have to replace it I will be coming back to this manufacturer no problem.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdated review

Pros: This is an update to my previous review: The power configuration options are under advanced / APM in the bios. The options for what happens after power off are [last state, power off, power on]! This feature is very important to my needs.

Cons: Null

Other Thoughts: Would buy again!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks - Stable!

Pros: Great BIOS features.

Very easy to upgrade the firmware!

USB drives recognized easily.

Small form-factor

Used this for a router/firewall linux box.

Super stable so far. My whole system only uses 55 watts at idle... nice!

Cons: No overclocking

Can't seem to change what happens when the power goes out (such as 'last state' or 'power on').

Other Thoughts: Would buy again!

4 out of 5 eggsgood board, no problem

Pros: -UEFI BIOS
-CHEAP
-PS/2
-LPT

Does all what it supposed to do.

Cons: - THE NORTH BRIDGE HEAT-SINK GETS REALLY HOT, 50-60C+, I ASSUME THIS IS NORMAL, BUT STILL.. MAKE SURE YOUR CASE IS WELL VENTED.

Other Thoughts: Good board for a basic everyday uses.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Good cheap mobo for a lga 1155 build. Paired with an i3 this is still a really fast system for a good price. Good ASUS quality as expected. Also the signature blue color-scheme is nice.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's micro so you can't expect a whole lot of inputs or anything. It's pretty basic but it does it's job.

3 out of 5 eggsShould have expected problems for this price

Pros: Nice and compact. Smaller than Micro-ATX so gives room to play with a HTPC build. ASUS UEFI BIOS and AI software suite are great. Runs Corsair DDR3 at 1600 fine. Nice price. But...

Cons: AI Suite software reported the BIOS images aren't available, so no update. My other ASUS boards can update find using the same Suite. Secondly, the board won't reboot properly. Anytime I reset, reboot, power off, etc. it will power off and stay that way. I have to either hold down power to fully recycle, or I have to switch off the power supply. Haven't had this with other models. A 2600K chip won't run at 3.8 Turbo in this board. It runs fine in other boards, so I assume the H61 is throttling it down for power or thermal reasons. Yeh, its dumb of me to try a 2600K in it, but I had an extra. Stick with the i5 2400 for this board. Finally, missing SATA 6Gb, DVI and a 2nd full PCI slot which the ASRock gives at the similar price. All in all, a waste of time. Pay $10 more for the next model up, or buy the ASRock.

Other Thoughts: I love ASUS boards (usually). I tried this board for a cheap second build for my wife. I also run an ASUS Maximus Extreme Z68, and in general I love ASUS and ASRock boards. This H61 board isn't up to snuff. Trying to exchange up to another model.
