5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine.

Pros: Cheap, supports AM3+ socket, all high grade caps.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you're overclocking, the board will get a little toasty, as expected.

3 out of 5 eggsBudget Gamer, Not bad but not perfect

Pros: * First and foremost it worked, That's the key!
* Part of a $330 Dollar, budget GAMING RIG
* Works with FX cores, Compatable with DDR3 1866(OC) memory - Up to 16GB
* RAID Board

This board is a bit outdated being it has been around for 3 or 4 years. That being said when you look at the specs that it has as compared to those 500 and 600 dollar computers you find at Best Buy and Staples, You can most definatley build a better computer for way less money!

Cons: Reading the instructions, The PWR LED+/-, Reset button section of the board is upside down from the boards setup, This can be confusing. I think it is definatly why the PWR LED and reset buttons are not working.
ASUS is this a misprint or am I just nuts?

Other then that this is a good starting point for not much money.

Other Thoughts: for 45 bucks you will be hardpressed to find a better MB to stuff a FX6300 in without opening your wallet and giving blood. They use 100% Solid Capaciters in this board so it is a quality board.

2 out of 5 eggsVery minimal board, died in a few days

Pros: As for pros, it was pretty cheap. Shipped in a week, as expected. Plugs were pretty firm. Came with 2 sata cables, which I needed.

Cons: Board doesn't have much to offer, but that's to be expected from a 45$ board.

The reset switch and hdd led dont work at all. Only the power switch plug works. Tested that it wasn't the case's fault by plugging those wires into another mobo and it was fine. guess those pins were just faulty on this mobo.

After installing all my parts, pc was booting but not posting. unplugged some fans from the fan plug, and it posted and booted up fine. cool. but now i cant plug fans in or else it wont post. weird.

So after more tinkering i get one fan to be able to be on, and have the mobo post. I guess i'll stick with that for a while until i find a solution. In the mean time i did some light internet browsing for a weekend, and that was it.

Monday afternoon I go to turn my pc on and it boots but doesn't post. No display on my monitor. Spend the whole day troubleshooting all my parts. All parts are working fine when tested in another pc (cant test the mobo though). Guess the mobo just died. Going to see if I can return it to Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Inexpensive AM3+ MB

Pros: Great for a simple AM3+ MB. Pretty box.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: For a cheap price you get a good quality MOBO. It is getting dated so make sure you are comfortable with the limitations of the board. Easy to update the BIOS.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice board for the buget

Pros: supports fx 6300 without updating the bios
good for gaming

Cons: -not for overclocking
- a little space for ram if you have a big air cooler
- only 2 fan ports
- no usb 3.0

-The BIGGEST con is that when the motherboard is shut down, my mouse is still on.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: You're getting what you pay for with this motherboard. It is a reliable board, that's decently priced and offers the necessities to run a good computer.

Cons: It lacks USB 3.0 hubs, which is one of the only downfalls. If it came with 3.0 hub and a more clean-looking interface I would rated it another 2 eggs higher*

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good For A Budget Board

Pros: - Up to 125w CPU power support. Gives me extra overclocking headroom for my FX 8320e
- Easy BIOS config
- Very Robust and strong motherboard for this price. You have no idea how many times I mistreated it. I keep banging the motherboard and touching the 'ESD' sensitive parts.
- Somewhat reasonable port placing.
- Up to 6 SATA devices
- Great value for money

Cons: - Eh, no USB 3.0 but it won't bug me out too much, it's a budget motherboard after all

Other Thoughts: It's really good for the price. What else can I say? It's got some of the need essentials.

4 out of 5 eggsStandard but Quality

Pros: The price is low. It's built with good quality. It'll accommodate a 125W CPU.

Cons: It only has a 3+1 VRM configuration for the CPU, so even though the BIOS has a lot of overclocking options, it won't sustain a stable overclock on 125W CPUs without stressing the VRMs. I have a 965 BE.

On the other hand, the overclock options are great to underclock and undervolt the CPU.

Other Thoughts: I actually run my 965 BE at 3.2 GHz at around 1.31V to alleviate the stress a 125W CPU at higher voltages will put on the VRMs.

It will run the 965 at stock 3.4 GHz, but I have to up the voltage to around 1.35V, which isn't horrible, but like I said, I don't wanna stress the VRMs or my power supply.

2 out of 5 eggsMotherboard is not posting

Pros: I can't tell for now...

Cons: Well...I don't know what happened but it can't post with the FX 8320e. Only one LED light lit up and...that's about it. Even turning it on y connecting the wires manually didn't work. No fans were spinning, not even the PSU fan was spinning even though I tested it out to be fine.

Could be an outdated BIOS, though I'm not sure how the last guy got his/her fx 8320e running out of the box, probably because that person got to update the BIOS through the older FX 6300 FIRST then install the newer FX 8320...I can't find the BIOS No. printed on the board but I do know it's a Rev 3.01 version. If someone could tell me the BIOS version of that version, it'll be great....

So either that or a DOA motherboard..
