5 out of 5 eggsNice WS board

Pros: Nice Board, EZ bios, and SSD caching works well. Solid built board in stalled a 3770k, 16gb memory and another build completed with no headaches.

Cons: 0, with the exception of the driver disk and manual missing, but that is located on the ASUS website.

Pros: Nice and stable motherboard. Approachable Bios. On-board power button for testing outside of case.

Cons: Watch out for virtualizing; I setup a VM and attempted to run it without enabling VTx in BIOS and the computer rebooted without warning and without gracefully shutting down the host OS (Linux).

Other Thoughts: Great board; definitely worth the money.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very fast, runs everything perfectly on my new setup. The bios looks absolutely fantastic and is very user friendly.

Cons: I'm not sure if only I had this problem. The post message screen only blinks for a single frame, which made setting up my raid array a huge hassle. I could find no setting which would slow this down on purpose. I tried everything, and nothing seemed to work, including updating the bios, switching my keyboard into a 3.0 slot, taking it out of fast boot, and slowing down my processor.

Finally after an hour and a half of fiddling and an hour and a half of button mashing I finally got it to enter the raid utility screen. Hopefully this is the one and only time I will ever have to enter that screen.

Other Thoughts: If the only con that I will have to deal with is blazing fast speed, although extremely frustrating while it was happening, I think its still worthy of 5 eggs. I definitely gave up after 2 and a half hours, a definite thanks to a couple friends that convinced me to keep trying.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I am running this board with the 3770k oc to 4.7 . running it 24/7 for 5 weeks now and it is stable and runs amazing, I am also running the h100 corsair to keep it cool .. The board is built well and still fits easy in a mid-atx case . I would recommend this board to anyone. I am also running a evga gtx 670 and the graphic run smooth with a 3d mark 11' score of 9652 with the card having a small oc also, and I can convert movies at an avg speed of 500-600 fps. The boards temps and its stabilty is fawless .

Cons: non at this time.

Pros: Finally I can get x16 x16 with my two gtx560 ti`s on a 1155 socket.

Cons: Can`t get the esata ports to recognize my drive. Waiting for response from Asus before I request a RMA. Maybe there is something I`m not doing in bios, which I highly doubt considering all drivers and the fact that this is probably my 20th build in my 15 years of building PC's. But hey, technology changes and I`m giving this baby the benefit of the doubt for now.
