2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good board, support for 6 SATA drives.

Cons: Year life span. PCIe 3.0 slot burned out.

3 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: It works like it should

Cons: -Manual and memory compatibility listings were false. 2 different sets in a row would have memory errors, odd shutdowns.

- ordered a new board to ship the old one back for a full replacement, but figured out the problem in the process. Kept one as a backup

Other Thoughts: I finally found that the vengence 1600 worked perfectly fine on my system. Eventually upgraded to A-data 2400. its been perfect since then.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It was a good motherboard.
Booted up first power on. Easy to use UEFI BIOS. works great with Windows 8, Z77 chipset offers great performance and features. For one year I never had one issue

Cons: Notice how I worded the pros in past tense. That is because it no longer works. Still cannot figure out why. But no display,Memory beep, no flashing no fan spin even for a second. I think it is 99% dead. The green led still works though. I am upset about this as for the price you would think it is a mid range MB but really is just like the Z77 A, but $40 more.

Other Thoughts: I really needed this MB not to brick. My i5 3570k is still good and I did not even get a chance to OC it as I used the intel fan. I needed to use as a working PC not just parts lying around.

5 out of 5 eggsASUS still the best

Pros: Easy to navigate BIOS GUI means quick and easy setup. Great on-board video, but it can handle anything a gamer wants to throw at it. Too many excellent features to list. Great price here at Newegg too!
Reliability and quality that others can't match. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: None that I'm aware of...
If you are an experienced system builder, you're all set.
If you're new to this, be careful when installing the CPU and memory, you don't want bent pins.

Other Thoughts: I've been building desktop PCs for more than 20 years and use ASUS motherboards exclusively now, because I've had zero issues with them.
This is my 9th ASUS motherboard, and they just keep getting better.

1 out of 5 eggsRun from this one

Pros: Cheap, great the short time it worked.

Cons: Board seemed sluggish on boot after about a weeks use. Then some random shutdowns. Replaced with a different one and all is good.

Other Thoughts: I though if I would stay around $125 I would be safe with motherboards, maybe $175 will be my new range.

5 out of 5 eggsDRAGONSLAYER II

Pros: The motherboard is a fantastic gaming board and it gave awesome ratings with my i7-3770K CPU..allowed enough memory, and even works with my cpu so that I can have a 2nd monitor on the on-board video, even when another monitor is on my videocard.--It seems to slightly over clock my cpu without me doing anything to it. Very happy on the most part.

Cons: Not enough fan inputs for my Antec 1200 v3---still nice mobo. not enough to lose a star.

Other Thoughts: I had to wait 2 years to get my cpu to finish it!

1 out of 5 eggsUnstable at Best

Pros: Cheap. Lots of Ports

Cons: Unstable. Worked for around 2 months then I started to get lockups. Switched memory slots and it would run a while then lock up again. Updated BIOS and it worked for a while and then started to lock up again. Replaced RAM, worked for a day or two then locked up again. Junk

Other Thoughts: Wasted way too much time troubleshooting this Junk. Wouldn't recommend it and would never buy one again. Surprised this many ASUS boards of this model are duds..

5 out of 5 eggsquality board

Pros: very easy bios setup. was able to over clock my cpu rather easily and fix the clock speeds of my ram with no ill side effects. I read that for some reason the ram defaults to 1333 clock speeds, but it was easily fixed. 4x3gb/s sata ports and 2x6gb/s sata ports come in handy. First boot was clean and problem free!!

Cons: not really a con, but 2 more sata 6gb/s second ports would have been great for this board.

Other Thoughts: this is a great budget board for anyone looking to get a great mid/high range gaming pc setup going.

5 out of 5 eggshad since july 2013 and it works fine

Pros: relatively cheap, still the most expensive board ive ever purchased but cheaper than what hardcore enthusiast aim for .

Cons: 2nd pcie slot isn't good for even using a second graphics card for physx , i tried to setup a GTX 650 with my GTX 660 and run the 650 as phsyx and my 3d mark score dropped siginificanly

Other Thoughts: I'm running this board with pretty good mid range components and its been working fine, Its my top build to date , being a pc building hobbyist i can't afford to put a ton in each of my builds but i have 1050 in this build as so far i love it .
