4 out of 5 eggsASUS is quality and easy

Pros: BIOS is quite nice and easy to use. Fit in the case like it should. Everything works like it should. Manual is quite nice for a MOBO.

Cons: SATA connectors feel a little loose, no problems but could be better. And I don't like the single side latch for the RAM, makes it too easy to get in cocked.

Other Thoughts: Not sure when they started using the ram connectors they are using but I don't like them. And ram does get changes and switched often.

5 out of 5 eggsNo loss of business

Pros: Picked up box, opened box and just put it in the box, loaded Ubuntu and finished connecting mobo wires and USB while it installed. That took no more than 3 hours. Board had no issues but so many options packed so small.

Cons: Tight fit putting front panel and usb connectors NOAA's with Asus, pay for the extra stuff ;

1 out of 5 eggsGARGABE

Pros: nothing. It's a standard motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy anything from asus

1 out of 5 eggsDead After A Year Of Random Shutdowns

Pros: USB 3.0, fairly fast, plenty of usb ports, stable when it works.

Cons: Bought this in March 2013. I had problems with this board just randomly shutting down. Very Intermittent. Almost daily after about six months. I am not sure why I kept it. I thought it might have been an issue with my power supply at one point. It was not. It finally died in Sept 2014.

Other Thoughts: There is a bad batch of these in circulation. You are buying this at risk.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good

Pros: Everything works as expected. Price was good. Easy to set up.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Haven't done a build in years and was looking for something inexpensive to replace my old laptop. Using it now for software development and works great. No regrets purchasing this board.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective Board

Pros: None

Cons: This board was defective. I called ASUS customer service and they walked me thru a number of tests, which I already did before calling them as I have 6 ASUS boards running in my home and I know what I am doing. The ASUS rep admitted they have had problems with this board and told me to return it for a replacement. I paid $15 of my own money to return it.
Then the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE group kicks in and tells me to pay $180 for the repair. I only paid $70 for the board. Without my knowledge, they are sending the board back to me. They have kept the board over 3 weeks and I am now outside of the return window to return the board.

ASUS dispute people continue to hide behind email and won’t let me talk to anyone. The board is BAD and the customer service is WORSE.

Other Thoughts: If ASUS was not going to honor their original commitment, fine, just let me know if enough time so I could still return the board.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Great board for the price.

Cons: BIOS is awful. I mean really bad. I feel like it's missing a lot of features and it's not easy to navigate.

4 out of 5 eggsReally Newegg?

Pros: This is not a review of the product. It seems to work out well for people as a barebone mobo, it had one less fan then I would have liked but that's something I can work with on a micro-atx board. I would first like to call Newegg out for all the stuff they've put me through as a customer, this is the last time I do business with them. I have never once placed an order with Newegg without having to replace the order. From a gaming headset without a functioning microphone, to a monitor with a dead pixel, to a non-function power supply, to a non-functioning motherboard. Over the years I've lost faith in this company and no longer see a reason to continue business with them. Long story short, with the motherboard I was rma-ing it and accidently bent some pins on the cpu socket while trying to replace the plastic cover. Newegg has labeled the product as damaged beyond repair and is asking me to take it up with Asus to get it fixed. Considering you're the ones who required me to replace the plastic cover which subsequently damaged the product, I'd think you guys would be responsible but I guess not. I'm so done with Shitegg and it's business tactics.

Cons: ,

5 out of 5 eggsGreat desktop board

Pros: Is a rock solid desktop board I have deployed on a number of office machines.

Cons: does not release magical smoke

Other Thoughts: Is a great board without a bunch of annoying gamer crud glued to it.

4 out of 5 eggsFuncionando al 100%
