5 out of 5 eggsStill going

Pros: Long lasting, USB 3 & SATA 3 support

Cons: Flimsy, port cover doesnt fit very well

Other Thoughts: Built my budget system in late 2013. Board, 600W Corsair PSU, i5 3600k, 120Gb Kingston Sata3 SSD, 1Tb 7200 rpm hdd, 8Gb budget brand RAM. Speedy but nothing super special. I've never bothered to overclock. Thought I cracked the board and bent all of the pins installing it but it runs fine. I'm hesitant to add a graphics card. Win 7 was having serious issues later half of 2015, crashed repeatedly, no bsod, clock would stop, no error logs. I reinstalled all drivers from the dusty cd and it didn't help. I figured it was a hardware issue. Went to Win 10 in desperation and haven't experienced any issues since. Hoping for another 2-3 years of use.

1 out of 5 eggsP8Z77-V LK

Pros: It only randomly freezes a few times a week. Usually only once in the day. Because of that I went a long time not knowing it was the board.

Cons: It freezes randomly. As far as I can tell it's something that activates in the software that causes the crash. ASUS was aware of the problem and offered a BIOS update on the site. It corrects a lot of the problems. But it was discontinued in 2014. I feel whatever was the cause, made them give up and rush out another model. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU BUY THIS MODEL! Do not RMA it! The whole line is defective.

Other Thoughts: If anyone has a Intel i-7 3770 LGA 1155 mobo that doesn't crash, please let me know.

1 out of 5 eggsNewegg scammed me

Pros: Was fun smashing it up with a hammer

Cons: As many other people have wrote, the board came with bent CPU bins and I was denied a replacement because newegg claimed the damage was my fault.

I had immediately noticed the pins were bent when I removed the piece covering the slot for the CPU. Never touched them or even tried to place the CPU in the slot.

Then I was robbed of even more $ when I sent it back for an RMA only to be told it was my fault the board came with bent pins.

This is nothing short of a scam, and it still bothers me years later that I was robbed by newegg and treated this way.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bios is easy to navigate for entry level users. Have had it running in my secondary Pc for just at 3 years with no issues what so ever, even after having been used under constant over clocking.

Cons: none from me

Other Thoughts: I have had this thing in the computer that I have for guests to use when they want to come over and have. Holds two gpu's and an over clocked ivy bridge I7 very well, especially considering it is going on 3 years.

Pros: Worked fine until a couple months ago

Cons: Died after two years. Keeps restarting at bios screen. Confirmed it wasn't memory, hard drive or power supply

1 out of 5 eggsUnreiable

Pros: Good board until it died, cheap quality. Only a 30 day warranty.

Cons: Complete blowout in 9 months. Would not buy this board again.

Other Thoughts: I would not trust this company or brand. My son's PC did mostly Youtube videos and hardly anything else and the board died for no reason. Even had a UPS to protect it.
