ASUS P8Z77-V LE PLUS LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Very good motherboard, stable with Windows 7. Excellent companion with Intel i7 3770K CPU. The setup was very simple. Very fast with SSD drive.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this board to anyone who wants a stable base for an Intel build.

Pros: I had absolutely no problems with this MoBo. the ports all work great. Asus has always impressed me with their products and they didn't disappoint here either.

Cons: none

Pros: Number of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 on rear and internal.

Easy setup.

Cons: Only 2 SATA6 GB/s connections.

Other Thoughts: I'm not docking an egg because it is just the nature of the technology at the moment, but if you are installing a discreet graphics card, unless it supports UEFI secureboot, you will have to disable and lose the ability of fastboot.

Pros: Everything I have come across works well. Everything installed easily.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am upgrading from a previous Asus motherboard that is three years old. I never had an issue with my old one until recently one of my pci slots stopped working.

It was about 5 days before my warranty ran out, so I called Asus. So many places treat you like an idiot that knows nothing about computers, even when you clearly show that you have some knowledge. Asus talked to me on my level. It was very pleasant and the two people I spoke with were very nice, very helpful, and I got my motherboard fixed really quickly.

The 5 eggs is a combination of my previous experience and my lack of issues with the new board.

Pros: So many new features to allow even the novice a worry free install.

Cons: None I can recall.

Other Thoughts: Asus continues to deliver quality.

Pros: Installed easy. Looks great. Switch on the board to instantly overclock my i5 CPU to 4.2. Everything about it is good.

Cons: 2 little things. I am having issue getting my RAM to run at 1600. I changed the timing on it to what the RAM said it should be, but I can't find the option to put it at 1600 in BIOS.

Also, 1 of the fan connectors is right between the RAM and the power connector for the MOBO. Makes it hard to change the fan once everything is plugged in.

Other Thoughts: Used this in my first computer build and everything went together flawlessly. I honestly don't know what more I would want form a board.

Also, seems like anything you buy from ASUS is good safe bet. had a G50V laptop for the past 5 years and loved that. Also got a nvidia ASUS card in there and 2 big ol ASUS monitors. Just straight up good stuff. Never had issue.

Pros: Easy to install, easier to configure, mated well with my pre-existing components. A feature rich board with a nice budget price tag.

Cons: I've had the board for nearly two weeks coupled with a 3770k. At this time, I can't think of any negative commentary.

Other Thoughts: I've used the bios's turbo mode feature to get a sufficient overclock without going crazy. The overall ease of use and efficient setup of both the physical and software aspects of this board are subliminal.

To put it simply, this budget board can cater to the advanced overclocking guru, as well as the general home user making his/her first time build.

Pros: Got this board on special for like $135 works great a lot of nice features with it no problem so far always sure its good when you go with asus ;)

Cons: none the price was cheap board works great nothing bad to say i am very pleased :)

Pros: Has a excellent auto overclock feature, has all the features you need and much more reliable then most other motherboard manufacturers. Something that will have some ppl confused is the onboard audio, most boards have the alc 892, this one has the 889, the 889 happens to be better then the 892, the 892 has 95 db s/n ratio where the 889 has a 108 db s/n ratio.
It supports sli!

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: Tthe raw S/N ratio of the DACs in the codec chip, and says nothing about how well the motherboard maker integrated the codec into their design. Unless they've taken great pains to shield the audio section from EMI and provide extra filtering (dedicated voltage regulator) for the power to the codec, it seem to me theyve done a better job then most manufacturers, especially at this price range.
