1 out of 5 eggsDead on arrival for the second time in a row.

Pros: None - Dead on arrival.

Cons: First motherboard was D.O.A. Had to pay for the shipping to send it back to receive a replacement. Second was D.O.A. and shorted out my processor.

Other Thoughts: Shipping package was beat up and some air bags internally were popped.

1 out of 5 eggsYeah dont do it

Pros: Nice board with all the bells

Cons: Yeah the ethernet port is dying less then 6 months later

Other Thoughts: I tried asus before and had good luck but seems the ethernet ports always die on em.... would give 0 eggs if possible, I had the same problem 6 years ago and took me this long to buy another one to give em a second chance. well you lost a customer asus.

2 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard but cant trust it

Pros: Works. usb 3 support.multiple ports overall great

Cons: Seems to have issues with USB and freezing. when plugging in a USB 2 or 3 device of any kind it occasionally freezes the whole computer forcing me to reboot. it also freezes randomly for nothing which is very annoying. tried everything and have to blame it on the motherboard. gonna probably RMA

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Budget Board

Pros: I've had a few issues with this board, but they were easily rectified if you have computer knowledge. I would recommend this board for tech enthusiasts and the like, not beginners. The bios backup setting is nice, since you can flash back incase of a bad bios version. Keep in mind, this is a budget board. In the I.T. word, you get what you pay for.... Not to say that this is subpar, just not as impressive as a $200-300 board.

Cons: I took an egg off due to instability in the beginning weeks of breadboarding and testing. Also, I would recommend Also using the AI SUITE auto-tune feature. It is very unstable.

1 out of 5 eggspoor quality

Pros: worked well for 5 months

Cons: PC randomly started to shut down a few nights ago after playing BF4 or warthunder generally at transitions between high power usage to low pow (action to menu). after two to 3 days of this behavior it just wont power on now. it powers up the fans and sometimes i can get into bios for a few seconds before it shuts off. temps look good..tried a space power supply, tried an old low power video card as well to rule out power supply issues...

1 out of 5 eggsSecond board dead...

Pros: Ran well before it died (again).
Second one lasted five months, which is an improvement over the first.
Didn't take anything else with it when it went up.

Cons: Board died a few months after RMA with the exact same symptoms as the first one . Will be going through the warranty process again when I have some time.

It's a shame, this is the first ASUS product that I've ever had an issue with.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: The only reason i gave it a 1 star was because there wasn't a no star option, the mother board was doa dead on arrival and the locking socket didn't hold my processor in place while i took the heat sync off. the processor stuck to the heat sync and pulled out of the so called locking socket on the mother board. so i put my old motherboard back in which is an asus, and my old processor and the pc fired right up

Other Thoughts: i will change my review when i receive a new working product from newegg. no way i could give a good review when the mother board wouldnt even turn my pc on

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

Thank you for your review.

It sounds like the CPU socket was damaged as the processor should stay in place if installed correctly. That said, I hope everything goes well with your RMA. Should you need any assistance, please let me know through email. 3775862.

Regards,

Mark

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Feels high quality and looks nice

Cons: the I/O lined up funny for me and the standoffs were in not ideal spots.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I have two of these in the house, both with AMD FX-8350 processors. One has an R7 260 video card, the other a Radeon HD 7750. Have had no problems. The systems were easy builds and booted right up. ASUS seems to update the BIOS frequently.

Cons: Would be nice to have a system fan header closer to the SATA connectors where the hard drive fan goes. If your hard drive fan has a short cable, it might not reach a header.
