Pros: No much other that it looked good and had a nice box

Cons: I watched youtude straight from the egg about all this can do. Mine really just crashers for no reason on stock or slow settings.
I'm a high level builder and know a good bit but this was hard to get lined out just to post this. Im really up set that it to me to long so i can not return tyhis and the cpu and go intel dollar for dollar same brand and use newegg. It looks like im just stuck with warranties that draw out and have excessive down times. HELP

Other Thoughts: Know your stuff and read into like i did but dont think everything works like said. Ive bought alot from newegg so im sure they will help.

What is the part number to the RAM you are using? Which CPU cooler do you have installed? Can you please make sure that your 24+8 pin power connectors are securely in place? Also check your GPU and SATA power cables to see if they are plugged in to the correct ports.Clear CMOS and see if the board will POST. If it will not, pull one memory module and place the other stick in the slot furthest from the CPU and see if that helps. I would recommend flashing to the latest UEFI build (2201) if you can get the board to POST. If there is no POST following this process, then it would be best for you to provide us with your full list of parts for further analysis on QVL parts. Pros: The board is beautiful.
I enjoy the asus bios.

Cons: This board was a little to big for my old tower so i bought a new full tower. After getting my tower in march I installed the board and all other components.
When started up the network adapter did not register at all.
I can not connect to the internet. I did use the rom to download the drivers.
Sound plug also dead on arrival.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tested this board beyond turning it on. If I could have connected without problems I would have loved to put this board through it's paces.

Pros: None. Haven't had one that actually works yet.

Cons: Spent an hour on phone with tech support from Asus troubleshooting the motherboard. After it was said and done tech said board was doa. I have ordered two boards and both have been doa. It might be a great board once you get a good one but what is the point of ordering a board when there is a good chance it isn't going to work when you get it.

Pros: installation was a breeze. no problems then the other shoe fell

Cons: thought I had a bad water cooler at first or bad fan because the fan stopped working. then switch out the fan to see if that was the problem it didn't work. plugged it into another fan slot and it worked sort of. had to switch the pump to another fan slot. so the cpu fan and opt cpu slots just went kaput after install. so that is my work around till I hear back from someone on this problem.

Other Thoughts: only giving 3 eggs since it had problems will update as things progress

What type of fan are you using? PWM or DC? Please make sure to set your fan mode in UEFI to the appropriate configuration depending what fans you've installed. Does your CPU_OPT and CPU_FAN headers become completely non-functional? Connect the fans to the CPU_FAN header that way you can control them. Cons: I updated the BIOS, updated the AMD chip drivers and the Window systems would not see the BIOS created RADI1 disk.

Tried Windows 7, 8 and 10 install disks.

The Manuals are inaccurate and out of date.

UBUNTU installed to the RAID but would not boot

The board I have is defective, it power fails for no reason. I have been dealing with ASUS for over a month trying to get a warranty replacement to no avail. I replaced my power supply, reset my windows 10 and still have random power fails at least once per week. ASUS service works hard to deny all claims for service. Caveat Emptor.

I am buying a new mother board and a new Windows 10 license.

Other Thoughts: Keep away from all ASUS products

Pros: Well, I bought this board ages ago.. I think it's almost been 4 years.. idk for sure.. but I was fortunate enough to get an open box model from Newegg in which they used in the review video on YouTube. So way back when, I ran it with the Phenom II X4 965 BE and overclocked immediately... was phenomenal! pun intended... but I got the FX-8350 BE and have run at 5.0 GHz stable... ram at 2133 easily.. putting a little more volts if needed is no problem with this board.... and SLI is amazing...

Cons: RAID just does not work... apparently it's a very common issues... very temperamental... some days it works and some it don't... but I love the board... I honestly want to keep it but it's dying... my gigabyte board has lasted way longer so far... it's in my uncle's pc... at least they still update the BIOS... but idk... I have mixed feelings on it..

Pros: Very stable, very fast, very attractive

Cons: Pricey

Other Thoughts: I got this motherboard as a replacement for my Asus M5A97 LE r2.0 since it was having fits with my Athlon FX 8350; I was having constant service exception erros, as well as a bevy of other errors. I slapped the Crosshair V Formula Z into my case, and my PC has yet to crash! It's also performed very well for me as a gaming board; I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for long periods of time with all of the settings maxed and I have yet to encounter even a hiccup. The only gripe I had was the price ($240 as of this review) but it's been well worth the money. This board has a bevy of BIOS features that make it an overclocker's dream, and the package contains a metric ton of apps and software, including a full versions of Daemon Tools Pro Standard and Kapersky anti-virus. I'd recommend this board to anyone looking to build a rock solid, stable system, or for someone who needs an attractive motherboard for a windowed/clear case.

Pros: Everything so far, also i purchased the board back in 12/29/2013 and so far to date have had zero issue with the board. Asus has also released 3-4 bios updates since then. Very easy to over-clock with very little effort if and when needed.

Cons: No PCI-E 3.0 support or update with bios.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this board to anyone. Also it would be nice if PCI-E 3.0 could be supported.
