ASUS F1A55-M LX3 FM1 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Reasonably-priced, very stable, Asus reliability, plenty of features

Cons: RAM slots are quite close to processor which can be problematic with some heatsinks, no integrated wi-fi

Other Thoughts: Not much more to say about this board. If you need a basic, inexpensive solution that you won't have to worry about for years to come, this is the board for you. I've used Asus boards for over 15 years and they've always been the best in my experience.

Pros: liked the price and the built in graphics. Received good support from ASUS help desk.

Cons: Dead on arrival, will not even get into BIO, screen is barely readable. Called ASUS support, they said send it back.

Other Thoughts: Not happy I have to spend $14 to send it back and wait another two+ weeks to continue with this project.

Pros: Great price, great brand! I know the FM1 socket is fading/ed. This is still a solid start for a budget machine:) Mine is on the way to my doorstep as we speak.
