5 out of 5 eggsMOBO

Pros: So far everything is working great, no problems.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Other than being kinda new to the UEFI BIOS it's working great for my intel i5 2500k CPU and XFX Double-D ATI GPU

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value.

Pros: Picked this up at a rock bottom price. Great board. Running Sandy Bridge i5-2500k easily to 4.0GHz+. Crossfire works perfectly.

Cons: Missing I/O shield when I got the box. Not really a big deal.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great design, easy to install.

Cons: Bad DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2.
Video card was not detected on PCIE port 1.

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace my old Asus board which had a bad DIMM slot.. Just to find out the replacement has two bad slots.
Also looked to be 3 bent pins on the CPU socket, but that didn't cause any issues.
After an hour of troubleshooting I was able to boot the system with ram in just A3 and A4, and no problems after that.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy Gamer.

Pros: Fast board, Best price per performance Value in Z77 boards.

Cons: Not really a con but if I ever wanted 3 Graphics cards I would not be able to fit them all in my Mid Atx case with this board. You would need a full Atx case.

Other Thoughts: I got this guy to replace my other board that didn't offer Overclocking. I was able to get my CPU to 4.8 Ghz with out much messing around in the bios. Even with out the Overclock this board runs my graphics card much better then the previous board I had.

Seems like my board came with every thing including the back plate and sata cables.

If your running an Ivy Bridge Cpu and are a gamer then you will want this board on a budget.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, solid board when new, not bad when refurbed.

Cons: The board arrived with literally nothing but the board and a manual as well as a disc. No cables or anything, though I expected this as I was buying refurbed.

Other Thoughts: Not much to say - for what I paid, I have no complaints. It installed easy enough, the manual/disc was included and I simply used the cables I already had plugged into my previous board.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Packaging!!

Pros: Nonejavascript:Biz.Feedback.RateProduct.Form.submit('display')

Cons: Very poor packaging on the refurbished product. It was missing the original packaging (which is expected) but the box containing the motherboard was not sealed at all when it arrived. Also, the motherboard was in a regular plastic bag and not an anti-static bag and the CPU socket cover was broken.

Because of this poor packaging fiasco, the motherboard was damaged and would not power on due to bent pins on the CPU socket.

Other Thoughts: I have no idea of actually knowing if this motherboard is a good product. Newegg is processing a refund because I will not chance getting a damaged item from the "refurb" lottery again.

BUYER BEWARE when purchasing these open box products - there is a REASON they were sent back

2 out of 5 eggsBad Memory Channel

Pros: 3x PCI 16x slots as opposed to the LX

Cons: Would not POST upon installation; Mem_OK DRAM LED illumination tipped me off. Verified my RAM Sticks were still good - channel A2 not functional.

Other Thoughts: Annoyed that the refurb center did not catch this - whilst I have a failure analysis background and have worked in MoBo FA for years prior (am now in Semis) - this is basic stuff. Someone didn't do their job.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board for the price

Pros: It was cheap and it works.
Comes with everything the new motherboard does.
Works with Sandy Bridge

Cons: I guess if you don't like the plain white cardboard box packaging there's that.

Also, they just throw everything in the box, so I wouldn't expect it to be organized or anything.

Other Thoughts: Currently running a i5 2500K at 4.0 GHz OC. BIOS updated and works fine.

3 out of 5 eggsHm.... Maybe just me?

Pros: Good price,
Z77 Chipset
SATA II
SLI, CrossFire

Cons: Nothing except not turning on...ㅡㅡ;
Turns on, but does not.......

Other Thoughts: Does not power on normally, not like as it should.
I have to unplug all System Panel Connector
AND Jumper BIOS.
Then it powers on, and powers off, and restarts normally for half a day.
Then to power on, I have to go all through that again.
Defective....
And to get a replacement I have to pay $15 shipping? Why do I have to pay even more for getting defective item?

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I am sorry that the motherboard is not powering on. At your earliest convenience, please contact me through email, and we can discuss this case further. Within the email, please include the description of the problem, serial number of the motherboard, any troubleshooting steps tried, and your full computer component list. 3426454.

Mark
