4 out of 5 eggsBest micro mobo I've used

Pros: Built a friend's gaming PC with this; Amazingly efficient for being so compact. CPU, RAM, and GPU all fit in without issue. CPU heatsync locked in easily.

Cons: SATA ports are directly underneath the GPU (see: right of pci-2 slot)

Can only fit 2 sata cables into the mobo if you have an even moderately sizeable GPU. Definite slap-on-forehead moment from ASUS.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to first review posted

Pros: almost as small as a ITX.
Still works like a champ

Cons: 32 bit Operating Systems

Other Thoughts: A series processors need a 64 bit OS to reap the true benefits of the of the integrated graphics of the processor.
32 bit OS doesn't give the memory support needed for the processor/ graphics, witch leaves you with poor memory performance. Although adding a graphics card will bring you memory back up to par.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems to work well for a basic board,

Cons: No board updates from ASUS on any of there FM2 sockets. No USB 3.0 , came with wrong date and time in bios,

Other Thoughts: when OCing memory, windows index rating falls. probably do to 1600mhz only being recognized as 1333mhz at 5.5 W7/rating and oc'ed to 1866 falls to 4.5 this is with a 32bit operating system and 2x2 gig of corsair vengeance LP memory.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprising little guy.

Pros: Let me start off by saying, wow. Now that thats out of the way, this little motherboard rocks. I only happened to pay 60 bucks for this thing and it's pretty stable, very open to new hardware, and the UEFI is really nice.

Cons: Does NOT handle overclocking very well. I have a A6-5600k in it and I cannot overclock at all without crashing, which is no big deal since I built it for general use and very light gaming.

Other Thoughts: Highly reccomend this one for a budget APU build. Very good choice.

5 out of 5 eggsASUS A55M-E

Pros: Good price. Great fit for a small case. I love the UEFI BIOS. I can add a discrete video card later if I want.

Cons: No USB 3.0. I wish it would of explained what each individual setting in the BIOS specifically did, but there is always online search engines.

Other Thoughts: I placed this in an old HP SR1807CL case. I used the A6-5600K Trinity APU and 4 GB of G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL RAM. Everything worked with no issue. I wanted a "camouflaged" work PC.

5 out of 5 eggsQuestion Response

Pros: We purchased several of these for PC builds. They work great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My question is in response to the previous review. Are you trying to say this board is not compatible with current manufactured FM2 chips? Because that is not the case. These work great with any of the FM2 chips I purchased. Maybe you tried to use an AM2 chip in it which won't work. Don't rate a product negatively due to your lack of knowledge on a subject.

3 out of 5 eggsFirst timer mistake

Pros: Seemed like a solid board.

Cons: This is an older board and most of the newer amd processors are not compatible, don't make the mistake I did. Get an AM3+ board.

Other Thoughts: I'm waiting for a refund so that I can buy the right one, its taking awhile...
