4 out of 5 eggsnot bad overall

Pros: Price.
667 Mhz memory support
1066 Mhz bus - on the positive side

Cons: 1066 Mhz bus - on the negative side ( no 1333 Mhz, but what do you expect for that price?)
single channel memory only.

Other Thoughts: Works good. Installed Vista without any problems.
The BIOS has some overclockable functionality, but I did not try it.
Many people mentioned ECS as a questionable vendor, however my experience is good. If it works from the beginning, then it will work for a year or two, until some capacitors will dry out and it starts to malfunction.

4 out of 5 eggsOver All Good

Pros: This motherboard had everything I needed on it. It has PCI-E x16 and x1 plus 2 PCI slots all in 9.6x9.6 inches. The instruction manual is amazing, tell you how to do everything.

Cons: This may not be a con for you PC builders out there, but once you install this motherboard Windows XP has to Re-activate, and if you had XP Pre-loaded on a computer your going to have to go out and buy XP for a new product key, since your pre-loaded key was for your old motherboard.

Other Thoughts: VERY nice motherboard for the money.

1 out of 5 eggsSevere BIOS issues - Bad Support

Pros: After 5 minutes of thinking.... there is absolutely nothing that I truely like about this board.

Cons: After 2 days of usage the DRAM timing went out of symc and now the computer will not POST, and therefore cannot even boot or enter the BIOS. Pretty much, in two days it spontaniously became a very expensive paperweight. Installation was also difficult as mentioned in other reviews, the PCI and AGP slots are COMPLETELY misalligned with the case, so don't count on using those. The BIOS are also fairly cryptic and difficult to navigate. The drivers for the chipsets on this board are also fairly terrible and out of date. Drivers that claim that they work for windows vista crash on startup and completely fail. I also have been trying to resolve my fatal BIOS issue with ECS tech support, however they are less than helpful and take forever to respond.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I do not recommend this board to anyone that dislikes BIOS failures without reason. In two days this board has become completely useless since it will not even get past the POST. I am running Windows Vista with an Intel Core2 Duo E6600, 2gb Patriot DDR2 667mhz PC5300 Ram. Do NOT purchace this motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Board

Pros: board seems to be a decent all in one budget solution. I thought about getting some of the cheaper DDR2 800 RAM for it but cant find info on if it's compatible or not.

Cons: No dual channel support

5 out of 5 eggsquite surprised

Pros: What is there to say, Great board got as a mobo with celeron d 3.46ghz, run beautiful, easy to set up. Not hard to install, lots of features Sata, ide, Pci-e, pci and alot of other great things

Cons: Decided to keep it stock, not very overclockable, but the board run great anyhow. Depending on the case u buy u might have small problems misalginments, and other little thing. But otherr then that this board is amazing.

Other Thoughts: Why wait but now, good price good board, no thinking required :P.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat simple board

Pros: It's easy to assemble the system with this motherboard and install Window Vista. Everything is working fine without any issues. All in one features are great with this great price.

Cons: No compliant.

Other Thoughts: It's my first time to use ECS motherboard. Price and features are both great. Stable is important for me. System must work properly during the processing of data. This system can do it.

5 out of 5 eggsBudget board.

Pros: Everything included with this motherboard. Simple put the CPU, memory, DVD burner and hard drive. Install Window Vista without problem. Drivers are already inside the Window Vista. It runs smooth right now.

Cons: 1394 missing. Add a PCI 1394 card to tranfer the video.

5 out of 5 eggssimple and stable

Pros: First time to build the system with Intel CPU. System shut down while I turned on the system at the first time. Finally, I found out that the CPU heatsink wasn't installed in proper way. CPU was over-heat to cause the issue. System runs cool and stable right now.

Cons: It should be fine right now. I don't see any disadvantege on this reasonable price.
