4 out of 5 eggsChead goodness

Pros: Good motherboard for a cheap build. Running a 3.2 Celeron @3.8 on a whim. No problems after 8 months.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsLack of option to ignore errors

Pros: We use cheap small boards to build clusters of servers. First time we tried ECS, it lacked option to make the board start up automatically when it gets power. Something that was common back then and necessary to reboot servers remotely...

Cons: ...and now, it has that option, but it doesn't have a "ignore errors" option, so if there is no keyboard connected, the board doesn't boot up!!!

Other Thoughts: Why take out the option? It's an AMIBIOS. All AMIBIOS bios powered motherboards have such an option!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent board for cheap build

Pros: I bought this board to upgrade my stepdad's 2 year old computer. I had installation issues at all. This board is perfect for his basic computing needs.

Cons: for what I was looking for, there were no cons to this board.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable mobo

Pros: On-board graphics support Vista eye candy in all its glory.

Cons: Half the boxes didn't include a floppy cable. No firewire. No RAID 0/1.

Other Thoughts: I bought 20 of these for a University course in Basic PC stuff. They all worked (with 2 minor problems: on one, sound didn't work, and on another, AT mouse port didn't work.) Overall, VERY happy with their reliability.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Decent board, Vista Ultimate works fine, overclocked an E4300 from 1.8 to 2.3, and thats all the board can handle.

Cons: PCI-E at 4x instead of 16x, want more OC, not DDR2-800, 2-DIMMS instead of 4...

Other Thoughts: For those of you who wont get a video card with this, i have a 7950GT, and coming from a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum with an X2 3800, my 3dmark scores went down 300 points, and i never hit below 50 fps at 1680x1050 in Counter Strike Source...

Im waiting till my wife approves a new mobo :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Newegg Rocks! Refund for defective board was quick.

Cons: Board was bad from Manufacturer, it happens.

Other Thoughts: I've dealt with Newegg for many years and they are great to work with especially with problems like this. I returned this board for a refund instead of a replacement because I wanted a different manufacturer board.

Other Thoughts: No problems with the board.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little board

Pros: I was very impressed by this inexpensive, little Vista compatible board. For the money, it provides good value. Even the onboard sound worked in Vista!

Cons: The pci-e slot only being 4X... which made me not even bother getting a video card. Even though the Vista video drivers seemed to work right off the dvd, I was getting an occasional screen flash and a "Windows has recovered from a display driver" error message. I downloaded the Intel drivers from the ECS website and it's been fine ever since.

Other Thoughts: The integrated graphics (I believe it's Intel GMA 950) scored 3.0/3.1 in the Windows Experience Index. I was surprised to see such a high (relatively of course) score from integrated video. That also swayed me away from getting a video card for it.

2 out of 5 eggscompatibility issues

Pros: Cheap budget build board, and thats about it.

Cons: has too many compatibility issues.

Other Thoughts: should have bought a different board but, oh well you get what you pay for.
