3 out of 5 eggsNeeds Bios update

Pros: Works. Price.

Cons: Needed BIOS update, computer kept crashing till I did one.

Other Thoughts: Should have updated it first thing. started crashing after about a month. Maybe the E4500 I put in was incompatible. Oops.

Pros: DDR2 667, PCI express, Dual core capable. Cheap.....

Cons: The integrated graphics are TERRIBLE! Make sure you have a video card. Thought i would just run off of integrated for a week or two until i had enough money for a good 8 series graphics card. BAD DECISION, now i cant play WOW until i get my next paycheck.

Other Thoughts: Good price, works fine. Fun to put together. Dont know about all you out there but replacing a processor is prob the closest ill ever come to feeling like a doctor during open heart surgery.......gets me all tingly

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small and easy to put into just about any case.

Cons: Instructions are a bit lacking. If this is your first build, I would avoid this board.

Other Thoughts: Inexpensive, small and does what it is supposed to do.

2 out of 5 eggsSilent Death

Pros: none. For 10-20 more get an ECS with a Nvidia or Intel chipset. You'll thank me later. I promise.

Cons: I initially got this board as part of a Q6600 combo deal. Problem was that even with a pin mod to the Q6600 to trick the mobo into running at default 1333fsb it would not work at all and run at the default FSB. THUS zero overclock. I decided to keep it for a rainy day back up mobo 3 months ago. Now I just bought a couple of Q6600 to grow my folding farm and this mobo won't boot at all. Worked fine last time I had it out. Must of died in it's sleep while in storage. I don't have anything against ECS since I have two other Mobo's from them a G31 775 and a Nvidia 775 and they run fine folding with Q6600 @ 3ghz each but this SIS chipset ECS is really the lowest of the low thus the sub $40 price point.

Other Thoughts: I recommend you look else where in ECS mobo line up for higher quality chipsets. Intel or Nvidia based ECS mobos should not self-destruct while not in use.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for money.

Pros: Very good MB for the money. Worked well out of the box.

Cons: Not for overclockers.

Other Thoughts: Buy if you just want a board that works good, but do not need a lot of expansion, and do not desire to overclock.

2 out of 5 eggsNot good motherboard. Very bad experience.

Pros: Fairly cheap.

Cons: I got two bad motherboards and had to return them. On one of them, the PCI card slots didn't work and the built-in-ethernet didn't work ==> no internet access.

Board is misshaped and doesn't fit well into case since IO panel is too short.

Other Thoughts: ECS technical support sucks; manuals are complete gibberish.

Don't waste your money on this one.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Fast, Stable, Works, no problems yet

Cons: Cpu runs a bit warm with this board. Vista takes a while, before it will install; when using a sata hard drive and dvd drive.

Other Thoughts: A cheap-stable board

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Great for cheap builds. Supports dual cores. Still running.

Cons: Ethernet port ran slow at first (like really slow) but now has sped up. Sound drivers had a bug. South Bridge could use a heat sink.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mobo

Pros: Great motherboard!!! Ran fast and great shipping speed!! I will always buy from newegg. Drivers install from windows fine and then CD worked no problem. If you don't have PCI Express 16X you gotta get this motherboard. The price is right!

Cons: NONE!!!

Other Thoughts: When it arrived the brown shipping box it came in had some serious dents in it but the motherboard box was suspended in 3 inches of packing peanuts in every direction. Not Neweggs fault though.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap and Good (not Great)

Pros: It's cheap, can handle a great processor, has a good layout, and has some nice features (including the ability to overclock a bit). I have a PCI-e Geforce 7300GT installed and I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 without issue. Some people have complained about the sound, but it's decent.

Cons: Single channel memory, board gets a bit hot, and I'm confident it's the weak link in why my E2180 can't reliably go over 2.4 GHz. There are better integrated graphics out there, so if you want to use this with games then get a dedicated video card for 40 bucks... you'll be happy you did.

Other Thoughts: If you want to build an inexpensive mATX system, this would be a solid way to go. Just throw in an E21** series processor, and you could have a decent rig for about $250.
