4 out of 5 eggsLong Life

Pros: Lived long, even as s server and being shipped to canada.
4 ram slots
4-pin CPU fan plug
USB power jumper options on the board

Cons: WAS possible to be destroyed lol

Other Thoughts: i had this board for years now, it finally died today.
i powered it on and got a squelch, kindof a dieing beep... it still ran after that, let me get to bios.
had an error "bios checksum failed" and let me continue into the bios and change settings, afterwards it finally died and i have not even been able to get a P.O.S.T beep

5 out of 5 eggsSurprising board

Pros: I was impressed by the performance of this board even coming from a C2D and 680i. This was a build for my little brother, and this board fired right up and did as expected.

Cons: none...

Other Thoughts: Ecs is underrated in my opinion

Cons: Can't seem to get the CPU fan to cycle on and off...may not be the MB though

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with my gaming card

Pros: Easy install and works flawlessly with an ATI x600SE PCIE video card.

Cons: When I swap over to my x800XL I get no video out.

Other Thoughts: The day after I got the board, ECS released a BIOS update addressing this exact issue. Updating the BIOS did not help. I'm working with Tech Support now, but it's slow going.

2 out of 5 eggsSUPPORT SUCKS

Pros: inexpensive basic board.

Cons: died in six weeks.about three weeks later, no rma. support gave every possible cause to check beside board. finally put in old pci video in and it works-except pci-e, so it is the board.

Other Thoughts: my last nasty email stated i would replace with asus and hope rma would come some day was replied by "rma dept would be contacting me". week later, no response. if you buy and it dies, expect a very long wait

4 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Does not overclock well, can't adjust voltages in BIOS.

Other Thoughts: Buy this if you don't care to overclock. I haven't had any major problems. CD that comes with it does not work with autorun on my XP media center SP2, I have to explore disk. When clicking setup.exe it doesn't do anything.

4 out of 5 eggsNot that bad for the price

Pros: Not a bad board. It runs my Kingston DDR800 without any problems or errors. That was my biggest concern.

Cons: The USB seems a bit flaky with a USB KVM switch, but with no KVM switch they work great. The only other problem is only 2 SATA ports, but the 3 PCI slots make up for that. I can always add a SATA controller in there.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's SATA 3.0Gb/s not SATA 1.5Gb/s

Pros: Inexpensive. Supports SATA 3.0Gb/s.

Cons: Lack of a parallel port. Does not support 2.2V DDR2 800.

Other Thoughts: There's an error in NewEgg's description of the board. It supports SATA 3.0 rather that SATA 1.5. The two SATA connectors on board are all 3.0Gb/s.

I have used the board for one day. It works fine so far.
