ECS 865G-M v5.0A 478 Intel 865G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Comments: bought to replace a dead, older version of the board (v1.0)because i was afraid of compatibility issues with the RAM. works fine. only problem is that it doesn't have firewire, but i dont really use it anyway. using it with P4 3.0 GHZ & 512MB RAM. as always, NEWEGG delivered fast (ONE DAY!!) and very reliably.

Comments: Great mobo with great features for a reasonable price. Instillation was quick and easy. Everything worked except for the on board lan/ehternet. No big deal since I had a card, but....Supports dual 36 gig Raptors, 3.0ghz, Ti4200 and 1 gig dual PC3200. Thanks again Newegg for super fast delivery, as usual.

Comments: I was looking for a mobo that has every option. This had it all. I do I do mean "had". They removed the firewire port for some reason. The model number did not change. But I do own two of them with it. As always, ECS built a solid little board. Upgrade proof in a 478 socket design. Has 2 SATA ports, on board video and sound. A good little board. I love it.

Comments: This board rocks I am running a p4 3.0 prescott and 1GB of PNY RAM. Everything loaded fine. The Install CD worked after about 2 minutes of read but other than that it was all good

Comments: Needed to update to a board with AGP support. Only difficulty was figuring out where to attach my LED and power on/off switch from case to board. My 2.4 Northwood is moderately OC'd to 2.63 with only slight tweaking. Really look forward to further upgrades to see what this board can do.

Comments: This was very easy board to install for a rookie like me,i had gotten a diablo tek case as well not to long ago and got no directions for all the wires inside the case,the nice little instruction book i got with this board helped me out totally with that problem,the bios on this board are excellent and very explanitory,the only thing i didnt like was the onbaord sound it came with from c-media,not very good at all,i play counter strike source,and after i install this sound software it didnt sound the greatest for games or music,but i just bought a CREATIVE Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS GAMER Limited Edition 70SB035000013 8 (7.1) sound card and SENNHEISER PC 150 2 x 3.5mm Connector Headset ,so not to worried about relying on this onbaord sound,but other than that very good board,would buy it again

Comments: Very nice board. Standard AGP slot so no issues like some of the other MATX i865 boards. Working now as a HTPC with a Theatre550 tuner. Good buy.

Comments: This is a nice little board, I've got everything to work and I've got a 2.4 Ghz Prescott P4 OC'd to 3.1 stable on a Gig. of Wintec Ampo PC3200 RAM!, Nothing to complain about here, Newegg ROCKS!

Comments: I got OC upto 3.4G w/ celeron D but the ESC motherboard does not detect SATA HD.

Comments: I agree this is a small but very good board with every options. Easy to install and maintain. I have waited weeks until Newegg has this board "in stock."
