Pros: Cheap

Cons: To start off, the build quality was bad. I can bend the motherboard with ease. The Usb on the back of the board snapped off leaving the bent yellow plated connectors. Whining noises even on a light load.

Other Thoughts: This is just bad.

Pros: It was a great deal for $60 with the features of a higher end card.

Cons: ECS processed and approved my $30 rebate, but it was never received. Never go for a rebate from them unless you want to be ripped off.

The motherboard only lasted two years before dying. Was never overclocked and was well cooled.

2 out of 5 eggsDead ports, ram slots work half the time

Pros: Got it on sale and It did it's job for a while

Cons: Just after a couple of months my PC wouldn't post half the time. I reseated everything single component it and even tried another mother board and everything worked great. Turns out that the ram slots were failing and could only install 2 out of the 4 modules. I was alright with that but then after a month something else stared to fail. The USB ports would always short circuit and I lost 2 flash drives because of that.

Other Thoughts: Overall this motherboard has caused me a lot of grief. Looks like I won't be buying another ecs mobo anytime soon. Don't even know if the the board has any warranty left

Pros: It's a good board with good specs while it works.

Cons: First one died in warranty period. pretty sure I am out of it now I won't buy from these guys again since it's apparently not a fluke. why was I dumb enough to get this board again?

Other Thoughts: I am easy on this board compared to most users. It's in my "term paper" computer. There's no gaming, no over-clocking. Temps are kept under 100 degrees farenheit, easy life, all it has to do is dual monitor and run it's capacity of ram. The company warrantied the first no hassle but I am not okay with annual board replacement and if it ever ate a finished paper. . .

Pros: Price and Specification on Paper

Cons: Many. see my previous post Keeps rebooting from Hello_World.
Now, I got reply from the ECS, they wanted me to do the usual which was already done. After that, they want to do RMA, however, the shipping cost and in return i would only get a refurb which will most likely have the same issue, so I am not doing it.

Other Thoughts: What makes it work,
Only 2 RAM sticks makes it work much better. I think it's the 3rd and the 4th one. Now, I have put 3rd RAM in the 1st slot and it's been working ok, no BSOD yet, but I do shutdown after use to prevent the BSOD from happening, since it's very inconvenience. As soon as the 4th one goes in you start getting the BSOD. G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB - Item#: N82E16820231311
Support was ok, I wish they'd just give me a different board or something, cause this board has many issues and I am not interested in getting a refurbished board. I will try to stay away from ECS in future.

Pros: none

Cons: bad board after 4 months, followed by over 3 months so far of the worst tech support ever. I had to resort to coming here as their support site is even down now.

Other Thoughts: Started having problems in December. Did not get response from tech support until mid January. A week of emails back and forth and then someone called me. The resolution given was that they were going to send me a new board right away and that I would have 30 days to send mine back. It is now another 3 weeks or so since that conversation and I still don't have a new board from them.

Please do not buy anything from ECS!

Pros: None

Cons: Horrible service from ECS.

Other Thoughts: Put in a support request with ECS on Dec. 24, message said there is no one working until after Jan 3. They would get back after that. Now Jan. 17 I still have heard nothing. Put in another request on their site, will see how that goes.

Pros: Lasted for 3 months and made me realize that ecs sucks

Cons: Horrible mother board didn't even support my 8 gigs of ram died after 3 months boot up problems and blue screens all the time when web browsing or listening to music

Other Thoughts: my friend warned me not to get it and i paid the price if you are thinking on getting this mother board DON'T DO IT go with asus much better boards

If possible we would suggest trying one memory at a time, different memory or testing your memory. Also try verify power supply is ok. Inadequate power to your components can cause the entire system to lock up at worst, or just cause certain components to malfunction or stop working. A power supply does not have to be dead to be faulty.

Pros: It was great price and good specs

Cons: It keeps rebooting. Keep getting BSOD.
I changed the RAM but it didn't help.
I reinstalled windows and it didn't help.

Pros: SATA 6G

Cons: Started a reboot cycle like others have mentioned after less than 5 months. No blue screens, no errors. Digging into the windows logs it seemed to be a video card error as before every restart windows logged a "video memory low" error. Tried my old video card and had the same issue, so thought maybe my power supply was not delivering enough power any more. Tried another power supply and got the same issues. Also tested both power supplies and both video cards in another computer. Then I tried using just the onboard video, and same issue yet again. Just to eliminate any possibilities I reinstalled win 7, no change. Tried win 8 as well, still no change. Tried moving ram to different slots, one stick and two sticks, nothing makes it better.

Stay away from ECS!

Other Thoughts: This board had all the features I wanted, too bad they are not well implemented in a good board.
