Pros: easy install setup was quick
picked it up for 60 bucks

Cons: after installing the drivers from the disk it was working but then.
plugging into the usb3.0 ports cause bluescreen with the eltron usb 3.0 ports
software on disc such as eOC dont work but on motherboard website says it does
locked cpu ratio on 2500k o well h67 not for that
and you cant update the bios using eblu either which is the program that does it automatically you get error 4 which i couldnt find anything about since nobody really has this board yet but i used the windows 8 bios tool instead after shorting the me-unlock pin that one working little more options no oc tho :/ but still

Other Thoughts: the problems arnt that huge but can get frustrating when trying to get a little more our of the board

Pros: No nonsense board, fast boot, easy setup. Include S/PDIF output and ALC892 sound, both of which play well with Linux.

Cons: BIOS options rather simple and limited. Can't power-on via keyboard as far as I can see. No GUI in BIOS, must use keyboard. I could not get the UEFI boot to work with Linux on the first try and gave up on that. I don't think motherboard manufacturers have figured out UEFI yet, give them another couple of years.

Other Thoughts: I had no difficulty installing Linux Mint Nadia Xfce and configuring VLC to play movies. Outputting sound to S/PDIF did not require modifying any config files. Instead, complete sound setup via GUI. Nice.

I'm running a Celeron G540 and that's about all I need for htpc.

Linux Mint Nadia Xfce boots in 18 seconds--using a relatively slow WD25EZRX (Green 5400 rpm WD drive) as a boot drive.

Who needs Windows? Not me. But if you want to drop an extra couple hundred dollars to achieve the same ends, have at it.
