Pros: This is an update to the above review.

Cons: This is the response I recieved from the manufacturer -

It appears that this issue is related to a BIOS update required to support the C2 stepping on your CPU.

The BIOS will need to be updated.

If you do not have a CPU without C2 stepping, we would be able to update the BIOS for you. To do so we would need your shipping address.

NewEgg should send all of these back to them because it would be my guess that none of these boards support C2 stepping. I would have thought that when the MB specs (Specs from Manufaturers website)state that it supports core i7 processors with C2 it would do exactly that.

We do apologize for the issues that you had. Unfortunately, CPU's do continue to update and new models are released. Sometimes this does requires a BIOS update and in few instances the previous BIOS will not support the new CPU correctly.

Again we do apologize that you happened to receive a motherboard with an older BIOS and understand your frustration. Our current inventory is up to date and fully supports the newer stepping. If you or anyone else continues to have issues with a motherboard that happens to have older BIOS, please do contact us and we will help ensure that you get a motherboard with an up to date BIOS.

Pros: It looked really nice in my case with my 2 EVGA Geforce 670 FTW's sitting on top of it.

Cons: After spending a good amount of time carefully assembling my new computer according to the Mother Board manual and all other manuals for installed devices I double checked everything to make sure everything was right. Plugged in my PSU, turned on the power switch ,hit the start button and right of the bat CANT FIND DEVICE Then the bios setup screen pops up. So I go into setup,Go through it and make all the settings ,save and exit,nothing but a black screen with a cursor blinking away at the top left. I did this numerous times. Same thing every time. I made an application for tech support on the manufacturers website. Spent time on the phone with them and the last communication I recieved from them was 3 Business days ago stating the where trying to duplicate my issue but needed to find out if they had the same processor I have so as to test my setup.Well I cant wait that long. I RMA'ed it today and I'm looking at upwards of 3 weeks befor I get refunded so I can buy another MB.

Other Thoughts: Now by the time I get another MB all the other $2700.00 in computer parts 30 day return policy is going to run out and I'll have to use the warrantees if anything else decides to not function properly. That being said ,everything I read on review sites about this board none of them had this issue and all of them state that its a good board. I really wish I could have found out for myself.
