5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget board

Pros: Price, H77, looks good, works fine straight out of the box, BIOS is clean.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a budget build because of its price for an H77 chipset. I figured "Whatever, it's some off-brand Chinese (actually Taiwanese) piece of junk, it's a gamble if it even works" but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price it's quite a nice board. It isn't feature-rich like its more expensive counterparts, but for this type of build it's perfect. I'd certainly recommend it as well as ECS.

5 out of 5 eggsgood cheap board

Pros: cheapest most up to date board around, running a gtx 570 in the pcie 3.0 running raid on sata 6.0, best low budget board out there

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: good to start off a pc, i personally probably wont upgrade for another 6 months

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Compatible with Xeon 1230 V2 and HD 7750
I had no problem installing with ECS motherboard, smooth setting, nice GUI for bios set up just like other manufacturers' in the market.

Cons: I built all my previous PCs with MSI,Gigabytes, and Asus motherboards. This was my first time to build a pc with ECS motherboard. The only thing I didn't like in ECS motherboard was installing driver CD's GUI.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking to build a tight budget system with h77, go for this motherboard. Unless you want to OC, this motherboard will fit perfectly to your system.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Great price. BIOS has some great depth for a budget board. The USB 3 19pin(20pin) header is a plus for memory card readers etc.

If you dont plan on OC'ing to save money (which is why you buy this H77) this board has everything you need. No need to go for a more expensive if these are your intentions.

Cons: Not really a con - but something to know when buying this board. The CD only has the windows 7 drivers(Thank goodness the network driver still works from this CD so you can update the rest). ECS tuning already has the Windows 8 drivers for chipset/audio etc. for download on their website. You'll need to get these A.S.A.P

Other Thoughts: As a IT person of many years this brands boards have been reliable. One time I did have a DOA board and the rma process had gone smooth as silk. So for budgets boards take ECS over Biostar etc. anyday. I HATE Biostar boards and I've done 100-200 builds in my lifetime atleast. (had to include that last sidenote)

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Setup

Pros: These motherboards were a breeze to install. Ordered 2 of these for a charter school build. 1 to replace a dell motherboard, modded the case so that this board would work with the front panel connector.

Super fast boot up, absolutely no issues. Works great with: G. Skill Memory Model F3-10666CL9T-6GBNQ newegg Item number: N82E16820231223
(I only used 1 2gb stick for each, because I split the order between other pc's).

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I am not sure what length of service we will get out of these boards, but if they keep up the level they have delivered so far it will be lengthy.

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy, has everything I needed

Pros: This mobo has everything I needed and more: HDMI out, accepts my 1600 mhz RAM, 6 channel surround, SATA III, on-board graphics support for my Ivy Bridge CPU, and USB 3.0. It installed easily and handled a little accidental banging around inside my case thanks to my novice hands (first build). And it was affordable.

Cons: The product was supposed to include two SATA cables, but only came with one. I contacted Newegg, they looked into it, and they sent me another cable. That was 8 days ago so I hope it arrives soon. The only reason I knocked off an egg for this is because I either had to wait for the second cable to complete my build, or I had to go to the store to purchase one. Not wanting to wait since I had all my parts and they were all put together, I went to the store and spent my money on something I should have gotten right away. Not a huge deal, and I could have just waited instead of going to the store, but a missing cable in the box is not a hard thing for the manufacturer to avoid; It's a simple quality control thing.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's customer service seems to be on top of their game. They were very cordial and prompt. They sent me the missing SATA cable for free. If it arrives in the next week all my issues will be resolved.

1 out of 5 eggsRMA'd

Pros: Feature rich

Cons: Board would not post

Other Thoughts: Feature rich but ultimately had to RMA as board would not post. Tested ram, PSU, CPU and video and everything seemed to be working properly aside from the board.

Very careful with the board pre, during, and post (no pun intended) installation and was grounded during install so user error was not the issue.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cheap mobo

Pros: First of all, this thing is RESISTANT. If you're a newbie, definitely pick this thing up. I scratched it with my screwdriver accidentally a couple of times and forced it into my IO shield pretty d*mn hard. Still runs smoooothly. Also didn't wear any sort of ESD protection at all and the mobo didn't give a d*mn.

Tons of features - int graphics, usb 3.0 ports AND header, ESD protection and a sick BIOS with a GUI.

Cons: IO Shield is pretty crummy, didn't really fit snug into my case and I kind of had to hold it in place with the mobo ports themselves. Not worth taking an egg off cuz everything still works smoothly.

Other Thoughts: Solid, sturdy case that's cheap and full of nice stuff. I'd definitely recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: a well built value motherboard thats up to date, i built a cheap gaming computer with this and my experience with it that it is by far the best motherboard for under 100$, works well with new ivy bridge.

Cons: it doesnt make me coffee in the morning, or dinner at night :P

Other Thoughts: this is your best bet for a low budget gaming computer or just for your kids if your building them something and dont wanna get those 3004 boards.
