1 out of 5 eggsDOA garbage

Pros: None, see below.

Cons: DOA, waste of money. Wasn't able to attempt install until after 30 days of purchase, so no refund for me. At least I got the rebate. I suppose $25 is a small price to pay for a good lesson.

Other Thoughts: Won't post. Hang on "Press F2 to enter setup. CMOS settings wrong" error. Won't recognize PS2 or USB keyboard keypress. Clear CMOS, replace CMOS battery, no change. Diagnose individual parts, all new -- no problems there.

Other components:
FX-6300
EVGA GTX 760 SC
EVGA 500w PSU
8gb 1600mhz DDR3 ram
128 gb SSD

Serves me right for trying to cheap out on the motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Basic Board

Pros: It's inexpensive and was perfect for my budget build - since then, I've been slowly upgrading parts whenever I can.
Runs everything I need it to, games included. Civ 5, Dishonored, etc. Never had a problem.

Cons: None, all things considered. It's a basic, inexpensive board so I wasn't expecting any fancy features. I've never had a problem with it - it has always functioned well for me.

Actually, boot time on the BIOS seemed very slow. Not a problem, just a little annoying. Fixed that by moving the OS to a solid state drive. Now it only stays on the BIOS screen for a few seconds.

Other Thoughts: If you're on a very tight budget and don't need to overclock, go ahead. This board ran my FX-4300 just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board for the price

Pros: Does what it should.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: First build with a Micro ATX board. It was very easy (lots of space) with mid size case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Plug and play. No incompatibilities with the hardware i had at the time. Also it was the cheapest motherboard that supported my am3 cpu. ran in Zorin os 7 without issue. It will even run minecraft decent on the integrated graphics, I don't recommend it though. after two months of use I'm happy with my purchase.

Cons: Powercolor HD 6570 didn't work
bios update utility unsupported for board

Other Thoughts: When i plugged in my gpu and turned it on I got no display, however it didn't have issues with an ancient Radeon x800se. And upon trying to update the bios to fix the issue I learned that their software wouldn't work for this product. so until I have enough money for a HD 7770 or GTX 650 ti the integrated graphics will have to do.

1 out of 5 eggsIDE does not work

Pros: Boot ok. Windows runs fine.

Cons: IDE does not work. The board is bought for some old parts to built a machine for kid. Unfortunately, the board's IDE can't not recoganize my DVD writer. Swapped two IDE DVD and new cable, bios can read one, but still can not read correctly, causing windows to stop. Don't know if any bios update will fix that. Forced me to use SATA DVD writer.

Other Thoughts: don't know what is the failure rate for this board, I guess, selling cheap normally have more problem.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issue you have experienced with yuor IDE drives. If you haven't already, we would like for you to contact us. We would like to work with you in finding a solution. If you haven't already can you verify the jumper settings on your IDE drives? For one drive on an IDE cable, we recommend using cable select. With two drives on an IDE cable, we recommend using Master and slave settings, with the drive at the end of the cable set as master.

5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby

Pros: Great price for what you're getting.

Cons: None that I can see so far, maybe that there aren't many slots but that's not what I was really paying for.

Other Thoughts: This is just an overall great motherboard for the budget gamer.

1 out of 5 eggssucked

Pros: looks good for the price

Cons: On the other hand, got it DOA. New egg was good to return it.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your motherboard. Prior to shipping from our factory, all motherboards are tested to ensure that they are working properly. A DOA issue can be caused by any of the main components, including CPU, memory, power supply and motherboard. If possible we would recommend testing the motherboard in the following fashion.

Remove the motherboard from the case, with only CPU, CPU fan, memory and power supply connected. Place on a flat non static surface. Reseat the CPU. Test with only one memory at a time and reseat memory. Ensure that both the 24 pin and 4 pin (ATX12V) connections are connected from the power supply. Connect the power button from the case or short the power pins (6 and 8) to power on the system. If still have any issues or questions, please contact us and we can work with you to find a solution.

I or any of my team members here at technical support will be able to help you.
Our hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST.
