5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mobo!

Pros: Easy to install, everything fit nicely, the manual was actually helpful! The Bios was mostly pretty easy to work with. It reminds me of the older bios set ups, that helped. I did a puter before this one, and I spent a month trying to get the bios to cooperate. If ur new at it, get this one, you won't have any problems at all! It also works with a wireless mouse and keyboard too, which was a relief!

Cons: The mobo was great, but i did encounter just 1 problem. While the mobo is "old School".....no fancy EUFI bios here, it does have a "slider" set up without any real explanation to it. It takes a little bit of work to figure it out. Other then that i really can't say anything bad about it.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the slider on the bios set up, if ur new to building puters, or you just don't want to have to tackle a new bios like these EUFI's out there now, this is the board for you.

1 out of 5 eggsReplacement ALSO died

Pros: Can't think of ANY at this point.

Cons: Had to replace original motherboard (see "N/A" review) - now the REPLACEMENT motherboard has ALSO died, less than 2 weeks after I finally got it from ECS. *2 dead motherboards of same model, ONE A REPLACEMENT, in less than 6 months is unacceptable - my A10-5700 65W TDP CPU and the DDR-1333 does NOT push this board hard enough for it to keep dying.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why my earlier review showed up as "N/A"

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your motherboard. Please contact us, as we would like to find out more details to your specific issue and configuration. We would like to work with you to find a solution and look into your previous issues. The chances for the same issue to occur on 2 seperate motherboards is quite low and could possibly be caused by other components in your setup.

When contacting us, you can refer to case #ECD13091910005

I or any of my team members here at technical support will be able to help you.
Our hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Low cost

Cons: Serious lack of cooling issue with the chipset, heatsink on the MB chipset runs VERY VERY HOT.
Crashed out and had to completely reinstall Windows about 2 weeks after I bought it.
Died completely about 5 months after I bought it.

Other Thoughts: Cheap piece of junk.
Appears to have been replaced in their lineup VERY quickly - gee I wonder why?
ECS USED to make good boards, but this is the SECOND one I've had that died within warrenttee this year. Avoid them like the plague, they don't seem to have a handle on making reliable FM2 motherboards.

5 out of 5 eggsBudget PC that will impress!

Pros: This is my first UEFI board and when i loaded into BIOS, it felt like i stepped into the future. Nice GUI and mouse support within BIOS. Awesome! This board is designed for the newer line of AMD APU'S. This is definitely by far the easiest build i have ever done. i have built 40+ PC's in my time and this was a breeze.

Cons: Not really a con, but make sure you check your RAM timings and frequencies against what your RAM is supposed to operate at. For example, I purchased a pair of GSkill 4GBx2 @1866. My board, at default settings, was running them at 1600. One quick change and we were ready for lift off.

Cons: Had trouble with the boot wouldnt boot windows.. but after reading the manual i figured it out.. but other than that NONE!

Other Thoughts: I recommend this motherboard to budget builders. I got a 3.6ghz quad core and 8GB of RAM on it and runs smooth as hell!!
