5 out of 5 eggsGreat board.

Pros: Affordable and capable.

Cons: It's not faster and cheaper. :)

Other Thoughts: This is a great board for the price. I'm running it in a TINY itx case with OpenELEC on a thumb drive to stream video from my media server. It's just about perfect for the task. It could be a bit faster and smoother, but everything could. I can't wait to see a 2.5Ghz+ version of this. That will be sweet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard and CPU

Pros: Small, Quiet, Cool, and so far reliable. I've used three of these boards as office computers for a small business that I work for and they haven't failed me yet. The 6gbits/s port is a great plus.

Cons: The serial port feels flimsy.

Other Thoughts: Once put together and running with a 120GB ssd and 2GB of RAM these boards fly. They are the perfect fit for a business environment where gaming is out of the question and office applications are prominent.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No issues at all. Low power consumption but still able to keep up with CPU demanding tasks.

CPU fan cannot be heard, not sure if it ever turns on or is just quiet.

Thinking of buying another for a HT-PC.

Cons: Limited expansion, but alas you should already have that expectation prior to purchase. It is fantastic given its limited size and resources.

Other Thoughts: This is being used an ESXi 5.5 host running 3 VMs (FreeNAS, Win2012, RHEL). Works great as long as you understand the limitations of a dual core low frequency processor and 8GB of RAM, planning for these limitation are critical especially when virtualizing machines.

The FreeNAS VM downloads content and shares it. Win2012 picks up on the content and converts it to a specific format (CPU intensive) then replaces the origional file with the converted one. RHEL is just for keeping up to date with the OS.

Its a great little board which I recommend to anyone looking for low power machines.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value Motherboard

Pros: Small size leaves room to work in small cases, PCI express X16 slot. Board layout. Celeron 1037U is peppy. Handles HD streaming with ease. Benches faster than my Athlon 64 X2 2.8 GHz CPU. If you don't game, onboard video adequate.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Put a semi-fast GeForce GTS-450 graphics card in the slot and 8 GB of PC3 1066 RAM and for the older games I still enjoy, this board does just fine. Best value I've found. Setup was easy with Windows 7 64-bit

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for few bucks.

Pros: Cheap, quiet, affordable, and surprisingly quick when coupled with an SSD. Blows my other itx build (e-350) out of the water in terms of general speed. A big bonus is that most Linux distro's will recognize all of the hardware from the start with out me having to install any updated graphics drivers to get smooth video playback. This is one of the few rigs where I could play 1080p material with out screen tearing out of the box. Flash video isn't the best but I didn't really expect it to be.

Cons: No cons because I knew what I was buying whenever I got a low end celeron based board. Only real con was Newegg's new Surepost (slowpost) shipping through fedex which took the full 7 days to get here, but I won't deduct an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: Great buy, extremely worth it at the $69.99 price point for a low wattage every day linux build. I picked one up because benchmarks of the 847 were showing higher than the e350 rig I was unsatisfied with. While the AMD rig does have more graphics oomph it still has to much noticeable slow down in everyday tasks. The RAM and the SSD in this rig were both from the e350 setup so I could do a more direct comparison.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: - Low power - no 4pin needed.
- Runs cool - the small cpu fan is actually very quiet, inaudible inside a case. Would have thought it would have been really high speed and loud.
- 4x sata ports
- PCI-e x16 slot

Cons: Usb 3.0 would have been nice.
Newegg packaging could have been better.

Other Thoughts: Running Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS just fine.
Single 8gb max sodimm slot isn't a problem, if you need more than 8gb of ram this isn't the type of cpu for you.

Makes for a great little server, I imagine it would be good for an HTPC too.
