1 out of 5 eggsBLown

Pros: Small

Cons: Running a FX-8350, which is in supported CPU list, board VRM blew under load, killing both the board and my CPU. Not happy at all, especially due to Newegg's International warranty terms, i am out a significant amount of money.

Other Thoughts: If this ever comes back into stock, don't buy it unless you are running a low wattage CPU.

1 out of 5 eggswon't boot

Pros: cheap

Cons: the fans turn on but no screen shows, I can't even enter bios

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your motherboard. Prior to shipping from our factory, all motherboards are tested to ensure that they are working properly. A DOA issue can be caused by any of the main components, including CPU, memory, power supply and motherboard. If possible we would recommend testing the motherboard in the following fashion.

Remove the motherboard from the case, with only CPU, CPU fan, memory and power supply connected. Place on a flat non static surface. Reseat the CPU. Test with only one memory at a time and reseat memory. Ensure that both the 24 pin and 4 pin (ATX12V) connections are connected from the power supply. Connect the power button from the case or short the power pins (6 and 8) to power on the system. If still have any issues or questions, please contact us and we can work with you to find a solution.

I or any of my team members here at technical support will be able to help you.
Our hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: The only pros is that this motherboard allows your computer to boot.

Cons: This motherboard wont let me update my bios or change any voltage or frequency settings i also cant adjust the fan speed in amd overdrive it saise it supports 1600mhz ram but it runs my 1333mhz at 667 mhz instead of 1333mhz if not set at the defaults it will crash the computer and freez up everything their is almost no space on the motherboard for upgrades wouldnt recommend this even as a
replacement also the audio is horrible.

Other Thoughts: do not buy this motherboard waist of money.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear the issue you are having.

For you memory, from the BIOS the speed listed is the actual speed of the memory. From the BIOS 667Mhz should be correct for 1333Mhz memory. Since the memory is Double Data Rate (DDR), the actual speed of 667Mhz is doubled to give you the rated speed of 1333Mhz.

If you are continuing have issues updating the BIOS or any other questions please contact us.

I or any of my team members here at technical support will be able to help you.
Our hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST.

4 out of 5 eggsRemember its not supposed to be fancy...

Pros: Cheap hands down that is why I bought it. It also comes with gigabit lan I know it advertises just 10/100 throughput on there but it is actually gigabit speed.
It takes FX series chips up to FX8350 I am running a FX 6350 and a r9 270 just fine with this board.

Cons: BIOS boots rather slow...it does not affect anything else but it still slow. I thought there was a BIOS issue but it booted up after waiting like 20 seconds

5 out of 5 eggs"Motherboard"

Pros: This replaced my failed Asus m4a78T-E. It works well. I cannot comment on its appeal to women, largely because I have not done a quantitative study. Irregardless, the thing functions, and starts up more quickly than my previous motherboard, and is hella small. Also, it has onboard graphics, which I used for some time with no problems using "word processors" and "the internet"

Cons: The thing is small. If you are someone who impresses people by motherboard square area (square area of motherboard?), you would be wise to look elsewhere. It has few to no overclocking options, which initially chafed me as a "casual" "overclocking enthusiast." Also, this board pumps out less volume through the onboard sound than my previous one, but never has been less than enough volume of sound volume.

Other Thoughts: Many feel that hot dogs are injurious to health because of their content of nitrites. I used to mix chemicals for a living, but I can't definitively evaluate those comments. What I will say, however, is this motherboard functions well with my phenom 2 955be in a way that allows me to write hardware reviews that maybe I shouldn't even submit?

1 out of 5 eggsProblems

Pros: Everything technically works

Cons: Everything is slow, I have windows 7 ultimate installed and I can't even right click on the desktop without waiting 20 seconds for it to respond. I have updated all the drivers and I can't think of anything else to do. I am really disappointed.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality, Poor Service

Pros: It's cheap, worked (initially).

Cons: After a couple months of ownership, this motherboard burst a capacity and subsequently burst into flames. Attempting to get a replacement through ECS was entirely fruitless - after sending photos and serial numbers, they failed to get back to me after several weeks and several reminders. I am stuck ordering a different motherboard just to get my rig up and running instead of waiting forever.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat on a budget

Pros: Threw down an FX-8320E and this thing runs great, even supports a bit of overclocking (at least up to the boost spec).

Cons: Doesn't match my black/red color scheme?

Other Thoughts: Purchased this for ~$20ish as a shellshocker deal a while back, waited quite some time for other hardware sales, finally finished this rig after I snagged some good deals during black friday.

$300 gaming rig runs games such as BF4/Crysis 3 and newer title games at high/ultra settings 1080p. Just goes to show what a little waiting will get you on a budget.
