3 out of 5 eggsECS

Pros: -Cheap
-Small
-Supports FX CPU's (wouldn't recommend it tho)

Cons: -Not all the caps are solid caps
-Driver support is trash
-Back IO plate was bent and did not fit the case

Other Thoughts: It is okay for the price ($34) but lacks some things. It feels cheap and the driver support is terrible. I did get it working just fine but the integrated chipset does not detect my native display resolution even when the driver is installed. Its good for the price.

1 out of 5 eggsSetted it up, no display...

Pros: Would be a great mobo.. IF I CAN GET IT TO BOOT!

Cons: Hooked it up with an AMD FX 8320 while using in board and 4gb ram. Plugged in EVERYTHING and it did not display anything on the screen. No beeps, no NOTHING! I don't no what to do. Probably gonna RMA it and contact ecs

Other Thoughts: This motherboard would be good... But it just wont turn on. Tried everything.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your motherboard. Prior to shipping from our factory, all motherboards are tested to ensure that they are working properly. A DOA issue can be caused by any of the main components, including CPU, memory, power supply and motherboard. If possible we would recommend testing the motherboard in the following fashion.

Remove the motherboard from the case, with only CPU, CPU fan, memory and power supply connected. Place on a flat non static surface. Reseat the CPU. Test with only one memory at a time and reseat memory. Ensure that both the 24 pin and 4 pin (ATX12V) connections are connected from the power supply. Connect the power button from the case or short the power pins (6 and 8) to power on the system. If still have any issues or questions, please contact us and we can work with you to find a solution.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Tiny little thing, great for home theater, hdmi, booted right up np.
Stayed away from Ecs for years (Pc-chips ***shutter***) But, this little board is making me rethink that.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Wish it had a Mini pcie for laptop based wifi card. If your on a budget or want an office pc that will tackle Am3 / + line this is the one, very happy with it .

2 out of 5 eggsA960M-MV 1.0A

Pros: Price
Stable
Gigabit NIC
Has support for some AM3+ processors

Cons: No GUI Bios - This a minus because on the manf. website it states that it has one. This is the reason why my score is less than par.

Other Thoughts: My board has the latest revision according to the eBLU program, so don't know why I don't have a gui bios but hopefully they will fix this issue. On the whole it is good inexpensive board to build off of. There are also other revisions of this board that have more expansion slots and or support the 125W TDP processors.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the BIOS issue you are having. If you haven't already, please contact us so we can find out what BIOS you are running and look into your issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: If you are just look for a motherboard for an office pc or even a low-medium grade gaming rig or htpc this motherboard will do just fine. I have no problems putting this into a very small micro atx case.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: not enough high end features to be a gaming motherboard

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Board

Pros: Great board, bought it for under $40. Used it in a cheap build with an FX 4130 and an old GTX 260 with no problems, what else can you ask for.

Cons: The bios could have been better but not really a con.

Other Thoughts: I don't plan on overclocking anything so cant comment on that.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job, good value.

Pros: Built in HDMI, Small Form Factor, accepts DDR3-1800....and just look at the price! A good selection for the money. Fits my Radeon 6950 just fine too.

Cons: Can't really say anything bad about this device.

Other Thoughts: I need to do an inexpensive incremental upgrade to replace a board with a bad PCIe Bus, and since the old board was an AM2 with DDR2, just replacing it without upgrading was not going to be effective. This board does what I need it to do!
