1 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Cheap, failure can be catastrophic, apathetic support.

Other Thoughts: Board worked fine for about 9 months, then out of the blue one of the mosfets fails causing the board to start sparking, making it a pretty significant fire hazard as well as killing the CPU and RAM. No overclocking, no airflow or heating issues, the board just failed and took a number of other parts with it. Contacted support since they list a 3 year warranty, but the RMA was denied because the damage was "very terrible".

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have had with your motherboard. Did you contact our ECS RMA Department or Technical Support Department? If you haven't already, please contact us so we can find out more specifics to your configuration and dig out the root cause.

I or any of my team members here at technical support will be able to help you.
Our hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good

Pros: Low price, solid performance

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Installed this to make use of an older Athlon CPU I had laying around. As an experiment I've installed and used Windows 7, Ubuntu and Mint at various points during the last year and haven't had any trouble configuring or running the system under any OS. I'm not well-versed with Linux, so luckily the board seems to be.
Board / component quality is as you would expect, not the greatest pieces and parts, and the video ports seem really flimsy, yet they haven't failed or even been a source of mild irritation.
Surprisingly good for the price, though IMO the ECS A960M-MV is much sturdier, with none of the unsettling wobbliness of the video ports on this board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board for the money

Pros: Inexpensive, works fine so far after about month or so.

AMD FX 6 core cpu
8gb Ripjaw memory
EVGA GTX 650
EVGA 500 Watt PS
Windows 7

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Good luck with ECS boards have owned them for 5 plus years in previous builds. I see people on here always having problems with components not sure why that is as I have been ordering from New Egg for many years and everything ordered has worked fine so far.

3 out of 5 eggsmight wanna try a different board

Pros: cheap and small design

Cons: arrived non functional

Other Thoughts: as many of the other reviewers have said this board just would not post no matter what. I tested with 2 different psu, 3 diff ram sticks, 2 diff cpus, in one case and even tried on a piece of card board, but would not post.
I wont give this a one star review simply because i had free return shipping from newegg and because i have another motherboard made by ECS that works wonderfully. but i do recommend staying away from this specific board because of all the DOA reviews. I think line may have some quality control issues.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have had with your motherboard. To verify this issue, can you remove all components not necessary for POST. Just leave the CPU/CPU fan, memory and power supply. If you have more than one memory installed, try one at a time. Try another power supply if possible. Inadequate power to your components can cause the entire system to lock up at worst, or just cause certain components to malfunction or stop working. A power supply does not have to be dead to be faulty.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap, but as always, you get what you pay for

Pros: Paid $23.74 for it, worked without issues after tweaking a bit

Cons: Lasted roughly two months
Don't bother trying to overclock (probably why it failed)

Other Thoughts: Board worked for a couple months before failing, but didn't expect much more out of something on sale for $23. What most likely killed it was when I started running Prime95 to see if I could overclock the CPU at all, although the motherboard shouldn't have fried simply because of that (CPU only reached 50c; system shutdown itself and wouldn't come back on, even after using the clear CMOS jumper and re-seating both the RAM and CPU).

5 out of 5 eggsGRATE

Pros: cheep and offers more then some of the other big name brands.

Cons: non solid caps on some sections but that has never stopped HP or Dell from out living there Extinction or life expectancy other fact if you wish to use the PCI E and most graphics cards you might need a PCI E extension cord

Other Thoughts: Buy it if you need a grate little board or quick fix
