Unrivalled!!
- Pros: Will run ddr2 @ 1066, RAID, Pcie2.0 x2 w crossfire support, optical & digital 8 channel outs for sound and onboard LAN, this board will rival some of the best larger ATX P45 boards on the market today. NO ONBOARD VIDEO, YES, THIS IS A PRO.
- Cons: A lot of tweaking required to get this board working to its full potential but once this is done you can get 3.8ghz stable on air with e3110. Also, I had to do a lot of tweaking to get 1066 with the OCZ Reaper8500 2x2g ram while overclocking. This could be do to multiplier ratios but ultimately ended up at 800 for stability reasons (1:1).
THIS IS NOT A PLUG AND PLAY BEGINNER BOARD. 95%OF THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS BOARD ARE FROM USER ERROR IN SETTING IT UP. YOU MUST SET THIS BOARD UP PROPERLY, AND IN SOME CASES EVEN FLASH THE LATEST BIOS BEFORE BEING ABLE TO RUN IT PROPERLY.
- Other Thoughts: This board is unmatched by any other "m"atx ddr2 board on the planet! I think you can now get the ddr3 version but for the $ you will save on the board and the ram, this board is the way to go. You can budget build a system like me and still match or even beat some of the fastest systems today with what I have below:

This is my dream system and I couldnt be happier!!
Consider a Name Brand
- Pros: Have not found one
- Cons: Very Poor product and Product Support that is even worse.
- Other Thoughts: Follow up from my original post in August. Origianally purchased the board in May, here is is the middle of October and I still don't have a board that works. Received a replacement today which turned out to be DOA.
I will never purchase any DFI products again.
no resume from sleep(rev 01)
- Pros: Great overclocking performance for a micro ATX. SATA ports face sideways for better wire managment.( who dissconnects and reconnects these constantly anyway).
BIOS options are better than most people need, but this is a enthusiast board so not for the average user. Very nice color useage in design.
- Cons: This board will NOT resume from S3 state in Vista. DFI does not seem to care about this problem as indicated in forums. Other board manufacturers have addressed this problem( common in P45) with a BIOS update. If you do not use sleep state , and want a great micro ATX , this one is a good choice.
- Other Thoughts: Just a side note. I see that almost everyone that posts here seems to be a "expert" PC builder, but some can't get a board to POST. well, before you call it DOA, try useing ONE stick of RAM in slot 1 to boot, and then set BIOS memory settings before adding more RAM.
