5 out of 5 eggsBest mATX X58 Pure OC FUN

Pros: Provided hours upon hours of over clocking tweaking fun. Many kills achieved on UT3. BIOS tweaks took time but worked. More effort more progress. Alot of fun.

Cons: February 2011 batch of G.SKILL PI Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI quickly ended boot stability and had to rma MB. :(

Other Thoughts: Wish i would have bought the UT flavor of this mb for the awesome cooling on it. MB is out for RMA and i hope my mb is repaired and returned soon. This mb is DFI Biosecure gadget compatible and I'm going to buy one to ensure full bios operation. Biosecure must for stability issues corrupting bios during over clocking.

DFI please come back for Intel 2011 i9 chipset. DFI best quality, value and fun.

5 out of 5 eggsJust as I like it !

Pros: I've build three machines with this board, I7 920 chips and OCZ Gold 6GB 88824 mems and everything works just great.

Great design idea for expanding the chipset cooling. Fully loaded (SLI, RAID, etc etc).

Fantastic O/C, easily hit 3.6 GHz. Great BIOS as in all DFIs.

Cons: Had to install the memories on the green slots, but hey, this if a DFI. This is not for dudes who don't know what SPD stands for.

Other Thoughts: My 3'rd DFI board (had DFI LP NF4 Ultra-D "the legend" & DFI LP LT X48-T3RS), will buy DFI again !! ohh yeah.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic board

Pros: Runs cool with this heatpipe setup.Booted up first try and seems as fast as my evga board

Cons: Power connectors for the x16 slots use the floppy connector for additional power for the video cards..
dfi needs to update their connector setup for this..these are way behind time..

Other Thoughts: this is my first dfi board and ive been wanting to try one for a long time. I first ordered the t3eh8 but is was a bad board and wouldnt boot, newegg was out of them and i chose this board and from all ive read this board runs as good as its big brother..im totally happy with this board and have to say if you need a motherboard that jus flat runs perfect dont pass this one up.fot the price you cant beat it....

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy!

Pros: The board is colorful, and 'should' offer a very cool experience like another DFI board I once had (that eventually failed).

Cons: Everything seemed okay.. however I ended up returning this. The moment it started to boot from CD, the computer would immediately halt. Different drives, different disks, different BIOS configs, everything. I couldn't get the computer to work at all, and I am largely disappointed. I read mixed reviews about this and decided to give it a shot, however this is DFI's last strike. I just ordered an Asus P6T, and I never will look back.

5 out of 5 eggsLike a champ

Pros: i7 920 running @ 4.2 Ghz stable.. using crucial ballistix 6GB 1600 DDR3 @ 99924 timings, could probably get 88824 as advertised but haven't messed with it.
standard 20X200 multiplier 1.3650 v CPU vid. Temps 72-75 C w/ Corsair Hydro Cool H50. Running Raid 0 w/ dual stripped WD 640GB Blue drives.

Cons: Reseting the CMOS is a pain, the little red pin on the Mobo on the back looks like a nice feature to make it convenient but unless your using miniature tweezers you can't get it out. ***Quick fix*** use the extended black jumpers that come with the machine.

CMOS reset button on the back would be nice...

Had to flash BIOS to latest version, used USB flash instructions off DFI's website. Worked like a charm. DFI.com is a .TW website, would be nice if they had a US based server that wasn't prone with AJAX errors... (at least this is what it says) [keep in mind any board you get you will want to flash the bios]

Other Thoughts: Great board with lots of features, if your looking to get into overlocking you can't go wrong with this board. Default options are Auto or you can specify exact settings.

So far impressed, wish it came with more green SATA cables

5 out of 5 eggsGreat BIOS, great layout, good price for performance!

Pros: Super nice layout, one of the few X58 boards where a double wide gpu does not cover the PCI slot. Still has floppy connector which is invaluable for controller cards. Power, USB, IDE, and necessary connectors on outside edge. Onboard power and reset switches. POST Code LED read out. Soft BIOS reset by pressing both onboard power and reset buttons is invaluable. Full feature BIOS with any and every adjustment you need to really tweak this board into peak performance.

Cons: Factory BIOS is BUGGY, BUGGY, BUGGY! Issues recognizing hardware and a whole host of other minor issues. Would not consistently recognize my HighPoint RocketRAID 2310 until I updated to the BIOS dated 7/1/2009.

Other Thoughts: First review 5 days after initial install. First impressions are that this is a super nice mobo with all the features and tweaks a hobbyist would want to play with. Has so far been stable and issue free, passed 24+ hour runs of MemTest and Prime95 Torture Test with no hardware crashes.

Update to the latest BIOS!!! I'm guessing, more times than not, this board does not need to be RMA'd and the majority of issues would be solved by updating to the latest BIOS. I'm also guessing there are a number of n00bs and beginners climbing their own learning curve to make this mobo work. I do not recommend this mobo for n00bs and beginners, not unless they have patience and are willing to learn.

Will follow up with another review after a month or so.

1 out of 5 eggsExcessive RMA Action Required

Pros: For a circuit board, the DK T3eH6 looks like a piece of very expensive fine art when placed in a landfill or hanged from the wall.

Cons: The DK T3eH6 even functions like a piece of very expensive fine art; way-overpriced and its eyes follow people around the room. No matter how many copies there are, they still have the problems of the original, they soon look disturbing and the person who made it is hard to get a hold of.

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA the first one; Daily attempts/tweaks to install XP in second board fail and DK T3eH6 is now beyond RMA; Support falsely blames HDD/OS/other hardware, all found working in other systems; RMA costs/additional hardware and new OS purchases now exceed original purchase price of DK T3eH6 motherboard and may well have ruined a second Core i7 cpu.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: This board has a good design and the bios is great for overclocking. I had no problem installing except the cpu cooler I chose, which was a cooler master v8.

Cons: The system will not go into bios running three channel memory unless you place the memory in the green slots.
The manual is incorrect and the website had the correct slots listed.

Other Thoughts: Compared to the other mb's around this price range, this one holds its own.
