3 out of 5 eggsBioStar TF560VGA2 AM+ Combo

Pros: The board does work, comes w/ a NVidia 7600GT (256M&DDR3 memory) which comes in the motherboard box. Christmas present upgrade for Dad to play new Call of Duty. good enough as a continuous upgrade platform because it is AM2+ capable.

Cons: I bought 2G (1Gx2) GSkill F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ memory and tried to install as dual channel, memory would not post, just continuous beeps. Memory only works if installed in DIMMB1 & DIMMB2 in single channel mode, I suspect the new BIOS as the problem. No updates available on BIOStar site. video board covers one PCI slot

Other Thoughts: Biostar TF560 am2+, CPU AMD x2 4000+, also you need a PC speaker installed (my case had none) to here the beeps. two LED's will lead you to a CPU or Memory problem. During post they should be blank, then LED_d1 will come on, then LED_d2 will come on for correct operation. Read manual. I normally by Giga-Byte for trouble free boards but I was trying to save money, not sure if that is a good idea.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Fired up the first time, no problems so far. v12 overclock unstable with 1G GSkill DDR2800 and a 64 BE-2400. I blame the low end processor though.

Cons: none so far

3 out of 5 eggsEh, good, but has problems.

Pros: - Good price for the feature set.
- Works reliably with no instabilities.

Cons: - The 16x PCIe slot is right next to the PCI slots. So the heatsink on the included video card overlaps one of the 3 PCI slots. I searched specifically for a board that had 3 PCI slots for a reason. Now I can't use one of the 3.
- No drivers for this board on BioStar's web page. None at all. Not even the current revisions. If I didn't have the CD in the box I'd be in trouble. Given this product is at least a couple months old, this leads me to believe they aren't putting much effort into supporting it.
- Documentation states board has SPDIF out, which it does. But only a header on the board. No actual external port/dongle is provided.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this combo specifically for the price, 3rd PCI slot, and support of AMD BE2350 processor. With the exception of not being able to use the 3rd PCI slot, everything works well. The board and software seem to be geared mostly toward simplified/automated overclocking, which isn't what I'm in for. If you need an instant overclockable gaming sys, this is a good combo for you. I will probably sell this soon and purchase something else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat economy combo!

Pros: Very inexpensive combo! Tons of new technology and many extra features. Owned for about 1.5 months and not a single problem.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Came with user-friendly software for both mobo & graphics card, but I have not tried overclocking.

4 out of 5 eggsNice combo

Pros: I have seen some excellent reviews thus far on this board along with the overclocking abilities. Looking forward to seeing how high I can get my cpu to.

Cons: Only has 1 IDE connector.

Board has a 24 pin power connector that I was unaware of. I had to purchase a new psu just to use it. Not really a con but more of a notice to potential new buyers.

Other Thoughts: Windows is having issues with installing smbus controller drivers. Even the latest drivers from nvidia cause a blue screen upon restart and it shows up for a second before restarting couldnt even see the error. Probably due to using sysprep instead of doing a fresh install. Not sure yet, and cannot find help with this error online anywhere.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective video

Pros: Arrived promptly

Cons: Video card is incompatible/defective. Have to return the card and board both, as they are combo'ed together. Majory hassle.
