5 out of 5 eggsAOK !

Pros: works , perfectly ,

Cons: Realtek RTL8201CL - 10/100 PHY
not suported for linux, (web site is devoid of linux support)

but is on ok for windoz

Other Thoughts: i bought the uATX case here, and the sempron 3400 boxed processor and it comes with a fan.
the fan does in fact fit perfectly under the case lid.
less then 67mm
is a must.

note Your PS must have all 3 power cables for mobo.

4 out of 5 eggsBasic Board with no Support

Pros: Post quick. Good overclock options except no multiplier. Small form.

Cons: NO SUPPORT. E-Support doesn't work when you click on submit. Trying to find out how to control the system fan when connected to system fan header. (Speedfan reads speed but can't control it) Only 2 GB memory.

Other Thoughts: Good overall cheap board. Vista Ultimate on existing raid from another board that died only had to load a few drivers and update SATA drivers and was back in business.

3 out of 5 eggsVista Premium???

Pros: It's a Biostar

Cons: It's a MicroATX

Other Thoughts: I'm looking at this mobo for a client on a budget. I've found some MicroATX boards have trouble with Vista Premium and running the Aero theme. Anybody know if this board will run Aero on vista prem? I'd hate to order a Vista Premium and have to run the Basic GUI due to bad mobo gpu

4 out of 5 eggsStreight forward

Pros: Great motherboard so far. Easy to setup and get running. Simple, no hassles. Good price.

Cons: PCI-Express x16 Slot limited to x8 speed. Also, step one says remove CPU socket protection cap. Guess what? No CPU protection cap to be found -- maybe a manual error.

Other Thoughts: Setup using a AMD A64 X2 4600+, 2GB of G.Skill DDR2 800 dual channel. Ran BF1942 with no problems, just using the onboard GeForce 6100-405 video.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board

Pros: Has been working like a top now for a few weeks. Relatively good documentation, on brd video comes in handy during troubleshooting, etc. Worked fine with 2 sticks of 2 gig pqi RAM (N82E16820141300) and an A64 X2 4600+ Windsor (N82E16819103064).

Cons: It boots so fast my hard disk hasn't come out of reset yet! I just leave slow boot enabled (RAM test) and hit ESC to abort the RAM test if I happen to be sitting at my desk when it boots. Seems like its time to start including a programmable delay in BIOS! Also note only one IDE connector.

Other Thoughts: Does this let you slow down the PCI express connector? I didn't see a way after a casual glance at BIOS--I'll look more thoroughly when I get a chance. I think my GPU can't quite handle PCIexpress X16 even though its suppose to (card is a X1950XTX)--if not in BIOS maybe via the card configuration? No its not a GPU clock or RAM speed issue--already experimented with that using ATI Tray Tools. To the guy with two brds that worked but then died within a short time--that sure sounds like something else (pwr sup/adapter cards/maybe even a weird CPU?) is burning those boards up.

5 out of 5 eggsPS

Pros: See my review below.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: To the questioner below - yes, that processor is compatible with this motherboard. It's the exact same processor I used in my 6 builds.
