Board failed 5 days before warranty expired.

Pros: From a design point this board looked like a good deal. It is had all the features I wanted. It had received good reviews and installation was a snap. Everything preformed as expected.

Cons: failed 11 months and 3 weeks after order date

Other Thoughts: I am A+, Net+, MCSE, and MCSA certified.
I give this board a 3 star as it worked well until the day it failed 5 days short of the 1 year warranty expiration.
I have contacted support regarding the warranty status and requested a replacement. Let’s see what happens with that.

SATA controller failed after 13 months

Pros: worked ok for about a year.

Cons: SATA controller failed right after warranty expired. Apparently some others have had this problem with the board. Biostar wants $45 to repair after 1 year is over. Factor that into the cheap price.

Other Thoughts: Nice cheap board, but really expect a better warranty service.
