4 out of 5 eggsRan great for 3 Years!

Pros: Great Board that lasted faithfully for 3 years and 3 months!

Cons: Failed 3 months after 3 year warranty! FYI- Warranty is from date in Serial Number, NOT the date you purchase.

Other Thoughts: I would buy Biostar again.

1 out of 5 eggswow, misleading much

Pros: The motherboard itself is very good.
Excellent usage of the bios space and overall good experience there.

The title of the product should specify a bit more though.

Cons: I bought this motherboard for my amd phenom II x4 945 and to my utter suprise it did not work.
It clocked at 800 mhz. Normally you would simply turn cool and quiet off and it works again, but no. It did not.
If i rasied the vcore even 10 watts it completely shut the computer off.

so yes, i had to rma it.

Sucks, my first rma, now i cant game until i get a refund and a replacement.

Other Thoughts: They really need to list compatible models.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear of the compatibility issue you have. Our website shows a list of compatible processors for this model.

5 out of 5 eggsThe BEST for Unlocking and Overclocking!

Pros: Price, performance, overclocking options, stability, pretty much everything! Paired this with an AMD Phenom II X3 720 , and wow, what a combo! Unlocked 4th core with ACC, Bumped VCORE to 1.23v and am now at 3.7ghz stable. Temps never go above 47C, even with all 4 cores maxed with HyperPi.

Cons: Doesn't include an ESATA card. (That's honestly all I could think of)

Other Thoughts: -BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX 128M Mobo

2 out of 5 eggsCrapped out after 4 mos

Pros: Worked perfectly fine for about 4 months then died, wouldnt post or read HDD

Cons: It died after 4 mos, and im too lazy to send it back...

Other Thoughts: Was good for price point, used my old Athlonx2 6000 BE and could xfire with my 4870 (not a whole lot of gain)

4 out of 5 eggsComaptible with effort

Pros: -Decent price
-Two PCIe slots
-Great board for OCing with a bit of research and effort

Cons: -Needs holes on the right side to mount, putting RAM in can be scary
-Misleading combo deal and advertising: This board is NOT compatible with Phenom II X4 955 & 965, they will run well below their capabilities
-No 1394

Other Thoughts: Ordered board as an upgrade to my mATX, wanted the potential to crossfire. Recieved the board late last week, finally got the system assmbled on Sunday. Put in my Phenom II X4 965BE in, installed mobo drivers and... 800MHz?! Incompatible?! "this will NOT stand!" I said. It took an entire day of searching for solutions, countless restarts to access the BIOS, and even a BIOS upgrade, but by 1:00AM I managed to not only get the CPU running, but overclock it to 4GHz with ease. An official yet beta BIOS upgrade was needed, but it is possible to get these CPUs running on this board if you need to.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems nice

Pros: Easy set up! This is only my second build ever and I wanted to make sure I get an easy motherboard with no problems! Bios was very friendly with a little explaination for each setting. Opened up a Phenom II x 2 555 to 4 cores with two setting changes. EASY!! Has auto overclocking settings in BIOS...great for a newbie like me.

Cons: I know this isn't a "gaming" board but you think they could add a few more fan headers. There is only CPU and two case fans.

Pros: So... great overclocking options decent onboard graphics and yada yada yada

Cons: when i bought this motherboard for my father in the specs it said that it supported amd athlon II x4.. which is wrong >< so fyi it doesnt support that processor. i called tech support and it does appearently support athlon 64 x4 but i guess that was my mistake

Other Thoughts: Eh, i made a n00b mistake but MY motherboard supports the quad core so go me :P

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems with the MOBO

Pros: Installed very easily. Had no issues with compatibility of preexisting components I carried over from my prior MOBO. Documentation and software were very easy to use.

Cons: No on-board support for 1394 cable devices.

3 out of 5 eggsCPU too close to RAM

Pros: Cheap
Easy setup
Lots of BIOS options for overclocking.

Cons: There is NO space between the CPU socket and RAM. If you want to install an aftermarket CPU fan, you will only be able to use two RAM slots. Look at the pictures and consider this if you plan to overclock.
